Perfect location with an amazing view

Property was as described, clean, and comfortable for the entire family. Communication with the owner was easy and the process went smoothly. It was an easy walk from Marina with our luggage. The view from the property is amazing and we all enjoyed being so close to the beach. We traveled all over the Amalfi coast and used this location as our home base, traveling to each location by Ferry, bus or train. Our family recommends this location.

Beautiful Home with Beautiful View!

Pietro and Mary were very accommodating as we arrived early and Mary let us check in to our house early! When you drink your coffee in the morning out on the huge patio you can gaze at the beautiful sea. The house is located within walking distance of restaurants and stores. We took a bus over to Amalfi. I would highly suggest the coffee shop right below the house called El Muerza. They are very friendly and have really good espresso! There are a lot of steps up to this house, but it is well worth it! Thank You Pietro!!

absolutely terrible, place was dirty, advertised as a 2nd floor, but was on the 3rd, no elevator

Go elsewhere!! I could not wait to get to the Amalfi coast, but this rental made me feel like I could no wait to leave! The owner said it was on the 2nd floor, it was on the 3rd, very steep stairs, parking was 15 euro per night in a hotel parking lot one 3rd of a kilometer away up a very steep incline which was not advertised. Also, this hotel was closed for the season. Old moldy food we found in the refrigerator, the towels in the bathroom were dirty & smelled of dirty gym workout clothes. The TV did not work, and we could not get the AC to work either. I booked and prepaid for this unit for 9 nights, and we left after 2 nights. we contacted the owner with these issues and agreed on a monetary number for a partial refund, well , you can now guess who did not keep their word, and, after the fact, attempting to contact the owner several times, no reply !!! Its a shame that we had to choose this place....

A very confused review (between general rating and description). Certainly I could not expect anything different from Mr. Giuseppe, who booked for one person and came in four people. Usually we are flexible enough but from one to four there is a big difference. So I kindly asked to appropriately update the reservation which did not happen. Needless to say, in what a bad state he left the apartment. His evaluation is certainly an unpleasant spite consistent with behavior during the stay. I leave to potential guests to kindly read other reviews that are certainly more consistent.

Tolle Terrasse

Es hat uns rundherum sehr gut gefallen. Marilisa war sehr lieb und aufmerksam. Die wenigen Meter zum Strand, der schöne Ort. Wir konnten im Oktober noch sehr gut schwimmen. Es ist von Vorteil, die Restaurantempfehlungen der Gastgeber zu befolgen! In der Nähe gab es alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Für Fleisch und Fisch muss man den recht steilen Berg hinauf. Am Besten in der Früh, bevor es zu warm wird. Nichts für Leute die nicht gut Treppen und Berge steigen können.

wunderschönes Appartement mit traumhaftem Meerblick

Der Hauseingang liegt etwas versteckt zwischen mehreren Häusern. Das Appartement ist in der obersten Etage über ziemlich viele Treppen zu erreichen. Man sieht, dass die Wohnung kürzlich renoviert und liebevoll dekoriert wurde. Die riesige Terrasse mit dem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer, das man sogar von der Couch im Wohnzimmer sehen kann, ist der absolute Wahnsinn! Wir waren Ende September in Vietri und haben dann leider viel mit recht aggressiven Tigermücken zu tun gehabt (ein Spray aus der Aptheke hat aber ganz gut geholfen). Die Terrassenmöbel sehen leider sehr billig aus, was etwas schade ist, da die Wohnung ansonsten (bis auf einzelne Möbel) recht hochwertig wirkt. Ziemlich nah an der Wohnung liegt auch der Fährhafen, von wo aus regelmäßig Fähren von Salerno bis Amalfi fahren. Der Bahnhof liegt ca. 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt am oberen Ende der Stadt (ziemlich steil) und ist in einem Tunneleingang über einen Aufzug (wunderschön mit Fischen) zu erreichen. Tickets kann man am Automaten (auch mit deutscher Sprache) oder per Trenitalia-App buchen. Vor dem Appartement gibt es auch eine Bushaltestelle, die aber nicht zu den Zielen führte, zu denen wir wollten. Die Nutzung von Bussen in der Gegend war für uns sehr ungewohnt: Fahrscheine erwirbt man in den dortigen Kiosken (Tabaqueria) und entwertet sie in den Bussen. Auf die Zeiten an den Fahrplänen konnten wir uns nicht verlassen (alle kamen 5-30 Minuten zu spät oder auch nicht). Bushaltestellen waren oft nur auf einer Seite der Straße ausgewiesen - keine Ahnung, wo die Busse dann für die andere Richtung halten oder ob man sich dann da einfach hinstellt... Wenn ein Bus anhalten soll, muss man winken. Trotzdem war z. B. die Busfahrt von Maiori nach Vietri entlang der Küste ein absolutes Highlight für uns: Panorama und Nervenkitzel wegen der großen Höhen und der kurvigen, teils sehr engen Straßen. In der Nähe des Appartements gibt es ein paar Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für die wichtigsten Lebensmittel. Wir konnten - wie bei den Restaurants - keine nachvollziehbaren Öffnungszeiten erkennen (ausgehängt waren die auch nicht). Die haben eben auf oder nicht. Vietri ist ein toller Ort und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Einziges Manko: die wahnsinnig vielen Hundehaufen auf allen Wegen. Sogar der Strand hat (an heißen Tagen) nach Fäkalien gestunken. Dafür fährt man dann z. B. besser nach Cetara. Der Gastgeber Francesco war super freundlich und immer zu erreichen. Ebenso die Haushälterin Maria :) Danke!!!

Eine der besten Ferienwohnungen die wir je hatten

Vermieter Federico und seine Schwester Rosaria sind sympathische, zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist direkt am Meer, die große Terrasse mit Blick auf‘s Meer ist ein Logenplatz in Vietri. Vietri selbst ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region. Zuganbindungen nach Neapel, Pompei sind super. Und mit der neuen Fährverbindung, ist Vietri jetzt auch gut an die Nachbarorte der Amalfiküste angebunden. Danke für den tollen Urlaub, den wir unseren Freunden schon empfohlen haben

Vietri mit Meer und Ausblick

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Vietri. Das Apartment ist genauso, wie beschrieben, mit einem unglaublich tollen Blick auf das Meer, der in echt noch schöner ist. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft sehr nett empfangen und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Von der Austattung her verfügt die Wohnung über alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Die Lage ist super, sie liegt nicht weit vom Strand entfernt und hat Restaurants und kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte in der Nähe. Auch der Weg in die Innenstadt und zu den öffentlichen Verkehrmitteln ist nicht weit. Man muss nur ein bisschen bergauf laufen. Der Eingang zur Garage, die man dazubuchen kann, ist sehr eng, aber sie ist billiger als das Parken an der Straße. Generell empfielt es sich, wenn man Nerven und Geld sparen will, das Auto stehen zu lassen und Bus und Bahn zu verwenden. Fahren fordert Geduld und Konzentration und Parkplätze sind meist rar und teuer. Aber von Pietros Apartment aus, kann man den kostengünstigen Nahverkehr super erreichen. Wir können das Apartment nur empfehlen. :)

Nice apartment with large terrace and beautiful seaview.

This apartment has many facilities including dishwasher, washing machine, very good wifi, air-co in several rooms. Although a tv set was available, we only could find Italian channels of which some channels were with disruptions. (SAT TV with international channels is recommended.) We very much enjoyed the large terrace with the beautiful seaview. From Vietri you can easy make all kinds of day trips to; Amalfi coast, Pompei, Herculaneum, Vesuvius etc. We used the public transport because it is easy and convenient. It is also healthy, when you walk to the train-station (and the centre of the village), you have to climb the hill 😉. We hired the private parking but this parking is only suitable for very small cars for example Fiat 500 or similar size. My advice: ask for the transport service, in this case you don't have to hire a car. In Vietri sul Mare we dined several times at the restaurants dal Pescatore and Aqua Marina. Both restaurants are ok. Overall; if we would come to Amalfi coast again we would hire this apartment.

Tolle Terrasse mit super Ausblick,die Wohnung ist groß und grundsätzlich gut eingerichtet. Folgendes sollte man wissen: Zum Hochklettern in die Wohnung,insbesondere mit Gepäck,muss man sportlich sein.Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein, Die Ausstattung der Küche ist rudimentär und es gibt nichts, womit der Gast mal zwischendurch Schmutz entfernen könnte. Es gibt keinen Ansprechpartner (bzw.4 bis 5,die nicht abgestimmt sind) und ganz wichtig: Sollte man die Garage für 15 Euro pro Tag mieten,darf das Auto nicht grösser sein als ein Fiat Panda. Und es wird in der Strandbar gegenüber gerne bis 4 Uhr gefeiert . Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit , weil wir uns mit allem arrangieren konnten.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit riesiger Terrasse am Meer, sauber, ordentlich; tolle Betreuung durch Signora Anna und Alberto, der uns zu super Ausflügen gefahren hat. Contemporary, comfortable, very clean apartment with amazing terrace overlooking the sea

The spacious apartment has all the facilities you will need including dishwasher, washing machine, wifi and very efficient air-con in every room. Plenty of wardrobe space in both bedrooms and the double has a small balcony. The terrace is the over-riding reason to book this apartment and we spent many happy hours gazing out to sea. Not only is it huge but gives you views over the beach and to Salerno in one direction and around the coast towards Amalfi in the other. The locals and neighbours are very friendly but you will need some Italian in order to communicate in Vietri. We did have some issues with the boiler going out but help came instantly from the house-keeper downstairs to reset it. We left some fly spray for the next occupants because we did find that small flies found their way into the bathroom but this was soon fixed by the spray. Pay attention to the warning about the stairs to the apartment - they require effort with a suitcase. There is a bus service from outside the restaurant downstairs to take you to the town centre and the station but you will need to buy a ticket from one of the shops beforehand. Probably the best place to stay in Vietri which is a lovely little local town.

Traumhafter Urlaub an der Amalfitanischen Küste

Diese Ferienwohnung lockt auf den ersten Blick mit einem traumhaften Ausblick, einer beachtlichen Nähe zum Strand und einer Klimaanlage. Was auch tatsächlich alles zutrifft. Die Ferienwohnung entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Beim ersten Ankommen stellt man dann fest, dass es sich um eine geräumige Wohnung mit großem Wohn-/Essbereich inklusive großer Küchenzeile handelt. Diese Wohnung ist ideal für alle Urlauber, die nach dem Strandbesuch noch den schönen Ausblick genießen möchten. Die große Dachterrasse mit wunderschönem Meerblick ist für jegliche Aktivitäten gut geeignet. Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen. Besonders die ausgesprochen gute Lage und die Größe der Wohnung beeindrucken. Vor Ort ist alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. In Vietri sul Mare erhält man alles, was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Essen, Trinken, Lebensmittel, Fleisch, Wurst. Sehr schöne kleine Geschäfte, die man alle nur empfehlen kann. Sehr nette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Geschäftsleute. Vietri sul Mare ist, nebenbei erwähnt, ein schönes, kleines Örtchen, in dem man den Abend mit einem tollen Abendessen, danach einen schönen Spaziergang und einem Eis schön ausklingen lassen kann. Von hier aus kann man wunderbar die gesamte Amalfiküste erkunden. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner erholsamer Urlaub.

Schönes Appartment, aber schlechter Zustand

Das Appartment ist schön gelegen, aber es war unsauber (Toilette, Küche). Die Ausstattung war sehr dürftig (Wäsche, Küche).

Es tut mir leid, dass die Wohnung die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt hat. Leider kam es am Tag der Ankunft der Gäste plötzlich zu einer Trauer in der Familie der Putzfrau. Wir haben uns umgehend umorganisiert um zu erklären, was den Gästen passiert ist, leider wurde es nicht als ausreichend angesehen. I'm sorry that the apartment did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, on the day of the arrival of the guests there was a sudden with a mourning in the family of the lady who provides cleaning. We immediately proceeded to reorganize urgently explaining what happened to the guests, unfortunately it was not considered sufficient.

Die Dachterrasse ist das absolute Hightlight der Wohnung; der Ausblick entschädigt für die "Anstrengung" von ca. 50 Treppenstufen. Der vor kurzem modernisierte Wohn- und Schlafbereich ( 3 Zimmer) ist gut eingerichtet.

Once mounting the 56 stairs to the appt., the effort is well worth it. Parking not an issue in the off season, but could be in high season. Three restaurants and a marche walking distance and many otherbclose by (up the hill). Once the renovations are done to the entrance this heritage building will show off it's charm. Very convenient location to tour the area south of Napoli. Get clear directions as the GPS directions not so accurate. Overall we enjoyed our two weeks immensely.

Terrazza panoramicissima, casa strepitosa

Vietri sul Mare- Marina (Amalfi Coast Emotions). Casa pulita, spaziosa, luminosissima e molto panoramica. Ideale anche nel mese di novembre per godersi in tutta tranquillità e armonia le bellezze delle costiera Amalfitana, e le luminarie di Salerno.

Luisa e la sua famiglia sono stati ospiti graditissimi. Una famiglia invidiabile e hanno lasciato l'appartamento in condizioni perfette. Li aspetto volentieri per altre vacanze e li raccomando ad altri gestori di appartamenti. Pietro
