Rome

I travelled to Rome with my three sons 22, 20 and 19. This was our first time in Rome without my husband. We loved every minute. Location was amazing with a fantastic view of the Colosseum. A large wonderful deck to ourselves. I couldn't fault the communication with Candy and Nicky. I just hope we weren't too loud running up and down the steps!!!

Plenty of Exercise

The flat is perfectly functional for a Roman holiday. The terrace has a lovely view of Rome, especially the Colosseum. It’s located on a height so you’ll get plenty of opportunities for climbing stairs and hills to work off the pasta. The terrace is ideal for al fresco dining in warmer weather, but the kitchen table inside is very small and would not fit even four people during winter vacations. We enjoyed our stay very much. A glass of wine at sunset was very memorable.

Amazing views in the heart of Rome

My son and I enjoyed 2 nights here. The view is incredible. The apartment itself is clean and functional but it is the rooftop terrace which sets this place apart. Thank you, Candy.

Good clean comfortable apartment well located in historic area.

The apartment is on the roof of a 5 story bulding very close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. This gives it good views of the area and easy access to these historic sites. It is also close to all the restaurants in the Rione I Monti area. The apartment itself matches the photos, with two good size double bedrooms and the third bedroom in an open area next to the loungeroom. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. As we travelled in winter it was rainy and cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the large terrace area surrounding the apartment but could see that this would be a lovely place to spend an evening in the warmer months.

Gorgeous view, great location and lovely hosts.

A breathtaking view from this Penthouse. It's all on one level which makes it convenient. The location is great. The apartment is spotless. Wifi, heating and washing machine work well. The hosts are helpful and give you the privacy you need. We slept well as there's no noise being so high up. This terrace would be lovely in summer too.

Fabulous time

Everything was amazing about this property! We had an absolutely amazing time. Nikki was kind and explained everything perfectly upon check-in. The location was incredible and views of the Coliseum from the rooftop were gorgeous. The only three small issues I saw were (1) there were ants in the kitchen on the counter, (2) the light in the hallway going up the the apartment didn’t work and it was an extremely dangerous stairway (2 people in are party took falls), (3) the smell from the bathroom drains was really strong and bad.

Great location for a magical Roman experience!

The location and rooftop patio of this Roman treasure is unmatchable! To wake up every morning and fall asleep every night in the shadow of the Coliseum is to be in Rome, and the beauty of Rome made our trip even more memorable. The rooms are very bright, so bring some sleep masks if you plan to sleep during the day, and the Master shower is small...so many of us used the second shower...but the charm and beauty of this condo is amazing. Someone even let off fireworks right outside the Coliseum the last night of our stay.

You cannot believe this amazing rooftop terrace! It's huge and the perfect nighttime hangout spot with the Colliseum backdrop. Would definitely highly recommend this place.

Epic Place to Stay in Rome!

We loved the location of this place! It was perfect for my family - if my kids got tired of walking, we could still come back to our place and sit on the terrace with incredible views. So many wonderful things to see were in walking distance, and the place was so nice and spacious.Our flight arrived early in the morning, and Nikki was so, so nice about letting us drop of our luggage so we could walk around and get some food.I highly recommend this location!

The view was exactly as promised. The location was perfect, very close to colosseum, metro, taxis, etc. The apartment itself was perfect, charming, understated and very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Great Apartment and Owners

Only had a few days in Rome with the family and we chose this wonderful penthouse apartment overlooking the Colosseum. The owners we very gracious and helpful with checkin, helping us with bags and showing us around the apartment. We hit a snag with the hot water heater but they were able to get a plumber to fix it very quickly. I would stay here again.

The views!

I got some of the most amazing pictures from the rooftop terrace with the beautiful views and sunset. There are many many places nearby and we loved this stop in our Italy trip. The host communicated well and the accommodations were just what we needed for a family of 6. All we needed was a place to stay as we were going, going, going in Rome and this place was just perfect for us.

Amazing place to stay

Without exaggeration, this property is probably the best possible place to stay in Rome. The apartment itself is spacious and very comfortable. The terrace is what makes an already wonderful place to stay incomparable. You simply can’t beat the view of the Colosseum and all of Rome around it. I will definitely try to book this place each time I come to Rome.

SHORT STAY IN ROME

Having stayed in Rome several times in the past few years, this was by far the nicest apartment we have ever stayed in. Centrally located, just a few steps from the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Metro Station made it extremely convenient. The photos from the listing are very accurate, that is the Coliseum you can look out at from the rooftop deck. The only complaint we had was with the low water pressure in the showers, totally understandable being on the top floor, but we managed just fine. There is an elevator, that is a welcome sight at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We highly recommend staying at Superactic Apartment to anyone visiting Rome.
