Family getaway

Amazing stay in all aspects! Friendly and helpful staff - very informative regarding the condo and property itself. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the views couldn't be beat! The check-in and check-out was process was extremely easy. We would definitely stay here again!

relaxing retreat at the beach with old friends

We were very happy with the size, beautiful setting, bedroom set up and cleanliness of the unit #340 at Shorebirds. We enjoyed a couple meals out in Moss landing just 15 minutes away- and had lots of great re-connecting in the comfy living room. Great access to the beach- nice long walks and caught amazing sunsets every night. We would definitely stay here again. Very convenient from San Jose Morgan Hill area- less than an hour- but felt like a paradise.

Hidden gem

Beautiful place. Our only issue was a sewage smell in one of our bathrooms. They had someone look at it (we weren’t home) and came home and the smell was still there. The owners of that property may want to have that checked out

Fire alarm

The fire alarm kept going off . No one fixed the issue for 48 hours. My guess left early because the alarm was in their room.The HOA did well by refunding one day. Unfortunately the family trip did pan out because my family members left early.

Poor communication of property manager

This property is lovely, just like the photos indicated & had everything that we needed for two couples to enjoy the condo and visiting the area. Our main problem stemmed from a plumbing problem in the kitchen, which flooded the dishwasher, including the floor & adjacent carpeting. On day #1 of this happening, a workman came to assess the problem and figured the line was plugged. He ran a 25 foot snake down and could not clear the line. He indicated they would send someone out the following morning at 9 am to attend to the problem. We gave approval for them to enter the condo, since we would be out all day. We came home at the end of day #2 and nothing had been done. When we called to ask about it, we were told they tried calling us to gain access and since no one got back to them, they did not enter the condo. They left the voice message on our home phone in Canada! At that point, they sent another workman over to assess the problem. Again, he spent some time using a snake and said he went down about 25 feet and could not clear the line - just what the fellow the night before had done. It appears there was no communication between the people. At the same time, we were promised that the dirty dishes from the dishwasher would be collected by housekeeping staff, cleaned & returned to us. Next we were told that the HOA would need to be contacted before an actual plumber could be called in. This was to be done on day three, as well as the dishes cleaned. We came home at the end of day three to find dirty dishes all over the counter and no work done on the plumbing. Now we were getting a little annoyed. In the meantime, we ran a load of clothing in the washing machine (we were told this was OK) and sewer water backed up in the sink. Finally, about 7 pm that night, a plumber arrived. He had to wait around for over 20 minutes to get final approval to begin the work, even though he had been called by the management company. After four hours, the clog was fixed by the plumber and we were then able to wash our own dishes. At the end of the day, the total lack of communication between the people running Pajaro Dunes was so frustrating and we think that if the owner of the condo knew this, they would not be happy. We were ultimately reimbursed for two nights' accommodation, but not without us escalating the problem and getting aggressive. This ordeal spoiled our stay. Stuff happens, but it's how it is handled that makes the difference

Shorebirds is an Amazing community. Place was clean, well decorated, and the view was amazing. Kitchen was nicely remodeled with granite. Unit was well stocked with a roasting pan for your Thanksgiving Turkey. Washer and dryer located in closet. This condo is on the 2nd floor. There are three floors total. We did not hear any noise from the top floor but not sure if it was occupied. The condo is very narrow but with the strategic placed mirrors it gives the impression of a airy room. The only suggestion would be to replace the Mr. Coffee Pot with a pod machine. BBQ is a low quality BBQ with two burners, but gets the job done.In the summertime the Sun moves way South and you cannot watch the Sunset from the living room. Hey, you should be on the beach anyway....We will return

Loved the property and condo. Beautiful views. Close to everything we wanted to do. Easy access to the beach. Only issue was the bedroom not connected to the balcony...the beds mattress has seen better days...my daughter said you could feel the box springs

Breathtaking Experience

My family enjoyed the breathtaking view and the comfort of our stay, especially from those Norwegian recliners. The kitchen area was spacious and spotless. The facility had its own WiFi set-up (independent of Pajaro Dunes) that made for easier access. My digital buffs were impressed. The only suggestion I have is installing a Queen size bed in the master bedroom for greater comfort. Other than that, a BIG thank you to the owners for making our stay the experience we will cherish for a long time.

Right at the beach!

Overall, we enjoyed our time. The condo was perfect for our family of 3, but would have been crowded. The kitchen was spacious and had a good selection of utensils and cooking items. There were no seasonings or any "pantry items" as listed in the listing, except for salt and pepper, which was in a very high cabinet that we didn't find until the last day. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels but no shampoo/conditioner. The wifi wasn't very strong. The view is great, but the patio could use nicer chairs. It's nice having a store available for necessities.

A favorite destination

Condo was excellent! The view was almost perfect - we had to go out to the stairs to the beach to watch the sunset - no biggie. The windows were dirty because of the ocean mist and bird poops, but maintenance came and cleaned them quickly. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we've ever stayed in. Only issue was the dryer didn't - we survived. We thought it was funny that our unit was next door to the unit we first stayed in years ago. Hope we can go back.

The property has a beautiful location, one back of the point. Great view of the ocean. Mirrors on the inside makes the room look larger and allows you to view the ocean from just about anywhere the fireplace area. No Shortage of things in the kitchen.

Beautiful Quiet Pajaro Gem

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels. Stuff supplied is so thin it’s more wasteful than useful. Everything else is awesome.

Great condo

This condo is beachfront with a great view and just a few steps down to the beach. When we checked out we left some items in the condo and the resort staff were very helpful retrieving them for us.
