ABOUT THE HOUSE

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has all the amenities that you'd find at home, plus 2 dedicated parking spots right outside the front door.

In the kitchen you’ll find granite countertops and a full suite of appliances, including a gas range. Sit down to home-cooked meals either inside, or cook out on the gas grill and dine alfresco on the patio table.

Opt for a quiet night in and kick back on the comfortable couch in the living room to watch a movie on the 46” flat-screen TV.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

With three bedrooms, the home sleeps seven comfortably. After a day in the sun, sleep like a baby in the master bedroom, which is furnished with a California King bed, and large walk-in closet. The en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination with glass door.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, featuring colorful marine décor, the third bedroom is furnished with a twin-over-full bunk bed.

A full guest bathroom offers extra space with a sink and tub/shower combination.

Guest amenities include dedicated parking for two cars, complimentary Wi-Fi, Direct TV, and a laundry with washer/dryer, plus air conditioning for the unexpected heat wave.

THE LOCATION

The house is 4 blocks from Carlsbad State Beach. It takes about a minute in the car or 10 minutes to walk. It is one exit to Legoland and less than 1/2 hour to the San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, or the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Disneyland is about an hour away. The house is fully furnished with all the cooking/eating utensils you would need. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys, bogey boards are at the house for you to use. We also have a pack-n-play and high chair available upon request. We own the identical house next door. The other listing is: 573325

Perfect for Family Getaway!

We stayed for 4 nights with our two children (ages 4 and 10) plus a grandma! There was plenty of space for everyone and the whole place was very clean! The property is close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The kitchen was equipped with everything necessary to cook meals and there were plenty of towels, etc. I would highly recommend this property!

Place was super clean with all the amenities. My only dissatisfaction was when I was checking out, I noticed place next door had 4 bikes in their garage whereas we had none. Travel south a few miles to avoid beach crowds.

Had a great time at a great location!

We were so excited to see how close the property really is to the beach. It was even better that the home had beach chairs and boogey boards. We were able to play and have fun at the beach without bringing along all the "extras" from Colorado. Great neighborhood and cozy home for our family.

Short stay in Carlsbad

It was a short stay for our group, coming to enjoy a little warmer weather and time with family. The rental worked out great for us! The rental was clean, modern, stocked with what we needed, close to a grocery store, coffee shop and the freeway. The beds were all comfortable with spaces for all our ages. And even though there are a lot of short legs in our group we did make it out for a walk to the beach a couple of times - so a comfortable distance to walk to the beach and downtown Carlsbad. Would be interested to stay here our next trip out.

Great Family Vacation Home

The house was fantastic for our family vacation. Super close to the beach and LegoLand, easy to find, parking, washer and dryer and LOTS of beach equipment to use. The pictures were 100% accurate. The owner was super easy to get a hold of and helpful. Our only complaint is the beds were hard and uncomfortable. However that is a personal preference.

Great vacation

We had a great stay in Carlsbad. The house was great, close to the beach, and great for a family. Our only complaints were the couches in the living room were rather uncomfortable, and we wish more TP had been provided. 🙄 But overall it was a great vacation.

Beautiful home

Nice little house blocks from Tamarack beach. Could use a few ammenties in the kitchen such as plastic baggies foil and plastic wrap. Nice coffee maker and Starbucks one block away. Very comfortable living room area and beach toys for our little one

Great beach house for families

Nice, clean, well kept beach house with all amenities. Quiet stay in a nice neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach, Vons, and Starbucks, and a 5 minute drive to Carlsbad Village. Short drive to Legoland and Outlets too. The owners were very responsive and cooperative in their communication. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Quiet comfortable place to stay

The house is well stocked. It is quiet inside the house even though it is conveniently close to the freeway. The a/c was great to have. Jim was a pleasure to work with, readily available if needed. My only suggestion would be to have an egg crate mattress,or equivalent, to have on hand for those who like a softer bed. Overall, it was a great place to stay and a great location.

Perfect rental for families

We feel so lucky to have found this property for our trip to San Diego. We love that it's close to the city and convenient to everything, but in quieter Carlsbad. Having three bedrooms is perfect for us and our two kids - on a longer trip it was nice to give them separate spaces to recharge and sleep soundly. Everything was very clean and we were provided with all the basics! The bonus is the washer and dryer; great for messy toddlers and if you want to pack less and then refresh your clothes. The host is super communicative and accommodating as well, which made everything very smooth. Thanks so much!!

We are only 1/2 mile from the beach. We are also one freeway exit from Legoland. San Diego is about 30 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

We also have air conditioning. The weather is generally mild, near the beach, but there is always a heat wave. You never know what week it will be. We installed Air conditioning for this reason that we want you to be comfortable.
