About this property

Romantic Oceanfront Villa for Two

Thank you for taking your time to take a look at our villa. It is part of the Cedar Reef Villas and the unit number is D102 - Oceanfront - 2 minute walk across the boardwalk to the beach - only dunes between the villa and the beach.

We completely renovated this unit in 2014 and just completed another remodel in January 2022. The bedroom now has a king size bed and new furniture throughout the villa. We provide our guests with Luxury Pure Egyptian Cotton Sheets, Luxury Egyptian Cotton White Towels, His and Her bathrobes and lots of little necessity items that make your stay comfortable.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, utensils, dish washer soap, kitchen towels, waffle maker, toaster, pots and pans, griddle pan, crock pot, blender, Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker, a pantry with organic coconut oil and other oils as well as salt, pepper and other spices. We also provide sugar and sweetener.

Our condo is one of only two units features a double wide balcony - one extra large outdoor living room, as we call it. You can enjoy beach living to the fullest.

We also added ceiling fans in living room and bedroom which are not standard in Cedar Reef Villas.

We also provide beach towels and beach chairs.

Cable TV and Free Wifi high speed internet are also provided for you to enjoy.

A nice touch is our TV stand which is an electrical fire place to give you a comfy / cozy feel when there is a cold day or you can use it without the heat. The villa has heat and air conditioning throughout.

Please note, that the condo only sleeps 2 people and the maximum occupancy is 2 per our policy. We do not have additional sleeping arrangements in our place.

As much as we all love our fur babies but unfortunately at the Cedar Reef Villas, renters are not allowed to bring their pets. Therefore we have a "no pet policy".

As a short term rental host we are legally allowed to use various surveillance devices to protect our property on the outside. There are 2 cameras installed at the villa. One is located at the front door of the property and one is installed at the backside / balcony of the property. Harbor Island is a private island with 24/7 security in place and a very safe place to be. Those 2 cameras protect our guests and ensure policies are followed.

Babymoon Bliss

We had a wonderful weekend trip for our babymoon! We wanted something relaxing, easy and a short drive away. It was beautiful and an incredible weekend. We saw so much wildlife and little peices of God’s beauty all over Harbor Island. The people were incredibly friendly and we loved that nothing was “touristy” or crowded. We can’t wait to come back to Harbor Island next year with our little boy and start a family tradition.

A relaxing getaway

We spent two days and nights in April 2025 at this lovely condo. While the interior furnishings were nice and comfortable, we particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the back porch, looking across the dunes to the ocean and watching a variety of birds flitting about and feeding on the grassy area between the porch and a small wetland. The condo is near Hunting Island State Park, which is why we chose to stay there, and also the Johnson Creek Tavern, which serves a nice selection of seafood. All in all, it was a relaxing place to stay.

Anniversary Trip

It was a great place to stay for our wedding anniversary. Only complaint was the neighbor upstairs moving furniture at 5am during our stay but not the fault of this property. It was the perfect little spot to walk right out and enjoy the beach!!

Wonderful stay on the beach!

The house was beautiful and it was just a short walk across the boardwalk to the beach. We took full advantage of this and visited the beach several times. There was a cute little “fireplace” under the tv that we enjoyed one night. It was a little extra gem to the property.

Island retreat

Utter Relaxation

We would highly recommend this property. While it’s in a “subdivision”, you have so much privacy. The villa was exactly as described and pictured. If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it!

Very nice condo.. Excellent views. Super clean. Very quiet. Everything worked. Other guests and residents were all very friendly, including the gate staff. The grounds were nicely manicured. Easy access to the beach area.Would certainly recommend this property.

PERFECT!

This condo was exactly as described and absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Clean, comfortable, well stocked, and just a stone's throw from the ocean. The only time we heard neighbors was if they were out on their balcony and we were out on ours. We loved the huge balcony/deck, btw, and the view was gorgeous. We highly recommend, and we'll be staying here again.

50th Anniversary Celebration

The place is everything we had hoped for. I had made the reservation without my wife's knowledge that we were getting away for our 50th. I knew she loved to walk the beach with the waves lapping up on her feet and this Harbor Island setting was perfect. She is very particular about where she stays and the condo provided everything as advertised and could not have been more perfect for the two of us. We look forward to revisiting soon.

The condo was comfortable, clean and had a good variety of kitchenware. The front deck was great but given the hot sun a porch umbrella would have been appreciated. The boardwalk to the beach was well lit and maintained, and as advertised it was only 2 minute walk to the beach. Communication with the rental agent could have been better since instructions on getting into the complex and door code did not arrive until one day in advance. My messages to her went unanswered until then. However, she accommodated our request for early arrival so overall it worked out well. The resident alligators under the boardwalk were a big hit with everyone !

Disappointed

King bed is unbelievably uncomfortable, mushy and overused. Needs replacement. Slept on sofa. Master bath is extremely tiny. We used master bath only for showers. First floor location is an issue. We were woken 3 nights in a row at 5 am by pounding of floor upstairs: kids running up and down. Plus you can hear conversations through out the night - thin walls. I wanted to leave after 2 nights of misery but had obligations that prevented us. Care package on arrival had two sets of ear plugs. Was this supplied to reduce noise levels from people above and on sides? 1/4+ mile walk over boardwalk to get to beach. This is marketed as beach front but you are so far from beach. Make sure you are ok with that. I never cooked or washed clothes in unit so I have no idea about kitchen/laundry.

The condo was very clean, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed how quiet it is there. I've been to Harbor Island multiple times before, but he had not, so he got to experience my favorite vacation spot with me for the first time. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and all sorts of seasonings, which made cooking our meals so much easier. I definitely want to stay here again the next time I want to get away from everything for a while!

We lost water during our stay. No fault of the owner, and she communicated about the issue, keeping us informed. She let us know pallets of water were available to us, and how to obtain the water. Otherwise, the stay was perfect, and we will stay there again.
