About this property
Cozy Cabin On 10 Wooded Acres In Vermont
This cozy log cabin in Tunbridge Vermont is the perfect getaway for a family or a couples retreat. Nestled in the hills of central Vermont by the White River, the cabin is set back off a dirt road on 10 wooded acres with trails, blackberry bushes and apple trees. The large lawn has ample space for games and running around, or just sit quietly and watch the wildlife wander by. A large fire pit is available for s'mores and staying warm on cool nights under the stars. When it is time to go inside there is a TV and DVD player with a large collection of movies to choose from, and wi-fi so you can stay plugged in if you need to. The cabin comfortably sleeps a family or two couples, with a double bed in the loft and a double and a twin in the bedroom.
In the summer their is hiking, with access to the appalachian trail, and fishing, kayaking, and tubing in the nearby White River(10min).
In the fall, just being outside is enough. The fall colors in Vermont are astonishing and should be on everyone's bucket list.
The winter brings Skiing, and from the cabin there are four different mountains nearby. Killington(55min), Pico(55min), Suicide Six(30min), Quechee(30min). There is cross country skiing at Mt. Tom and locally at the Fair grounds. For snowmobilers the Vermont Association of Snow Travellers (VAST) trails run throughout Tunbridge.
