About this property
Barn stay with dairy goats! Your clean cozy spot in the barn is waiting for you
The real rural Vermont experience, complete with the chance to sleep in a super comfortable barn bungalow. If you are really lucky, you will get the amazing opportunity to sleep under a steel roof while it rains—sublime! The bungalow features 1 queen bed and 1 full bed (loft), and sixteen or so friendly Nubian dairy goats, some free ranging ducks, and assorted wild critters!
You will enjoy you private and superbly comfortable private bath suite; complete with tub and shower: vanity and heatdd and lighted mirror; and odor-free state of the art incinerating toilet. ensuring a fabulous night's sleep for all guests. The kitchen includes a mini fridge, sink, dishes, silverware and a set of marshmallow sticks. There is a Nespresso Vertua coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven and a fire pit with a grill for cooking. . Plus, there is an additional living room space with a cozy electric fireplace and propane heat in the winter.
This is a working dairy goat barn and guests are invited to join in daily farm activities as much; or as little as they desire.
Our trail connects directly to the VAST snowmobile trail system and have plenty of space for vehicles with snowmobile trailers. Snowmobiles can be parked under cover with ride in/ride out access!
Several lawn games including corn hole and ladder ball are free for our guests. We have additional tenting sights that can be utilized at an additional fee for larger groups. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Chelsea and our farm has to offer. Ask about our additional equipment and experience packages to include classes on goat milk soap making, sweet grass braiding, natural cordage arts, and out door skills orientations.
Come have a relaxing adventure in the heart of the real Vermont! It does not matter which of Vermont’s six seasons (well okay maybe not mud season) but spring with blooming forests and baby goats, to summer with creek frolicking and evening fires; falls resplendent fiery foliage, stick season’s restful wooded walks, to winter’s peaceful beauty and adventures. Huntress Haven has it all- in splendid beauty and comfort.
