Originating from Steni, a little village down the road from Meladeia. I always used to spend my Summers there with my grandmother and i used to look forward to going every Summer. I remember taking the rural bus from Nicosia by myself to go and stay with my grandmother. Back then it used to take me 6 hours to get there. Now is only a two hour drive, how things have changed! I have the fondest memories of my Summers in Steni, carefree times playing in the fields, feeding the goats, playing with the rabbits, eating warm bread out of the wooden oven. Enjoying fruits directly from the trees....
Why they chose this property
Every time Ι arrive at Ithaki, I fall in love all over again….
It was love at first sight when I set my eyes on this property. It was November 2016 when Dad and I were to view this house that was for sale in Meladeia. It looked beautiful on the photos, it was absolutely perfect in real life. Every time I arrive to this small piece of heaven, I am captivated by the beauty of the untouched countryside, the simplicity and friendliness of the locals, the absolute peace and tranquility, the breathtaking views and sunsets, the feeling of being at home. The balcony views of the private swimming pool take my breath away. Every time is like the first time, and every time I reaffirm that we have made the right choice.
We have been looking for our own property for some time. With Ithaki I instantly knew that after so many years of searching, our journey had come to an end.
In our short journey of welcoming guests we are thrilled to know that all feel the magic of Ithaki and depart with the best of memories. We pride ourselves for the perfect reviews and delighted to welcome back past guests, as well as new.
We know that being here is what we’re destined for... and so are you!

The views from the property are spectacular, most days you can see the boats coming and going to Akamas - Blue Lagoon. Once we are here all our worries from our city life are left behind and we enjoy the peace and tranquility that ITHAKI offers.
