About this property

Robin's nest: quiet setting 200 meters from the historic center

Our house is 200 meters from the fascinating medieval walls, between Porta S. Maria and Porta S. Jacopo, located in a very quiet residential area of Lucca. We are very close to the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro which can be reached in a few minutes both on foot and by bicycle, and all kinds of shops. The house is a villa of the 50s, with two floors with separate entrances, just renovated and the ground floor is reserved for friends and guests. The 90 sq.m. apartment comprises a 21 sq.mt kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher and a 3.5 m table, which can accommodate up to 16 people (for our family gatherings), a living room with two single sofa beds (or double bed), a bathroom, a double bedroom (or two single beds) and a subscale with washing machine. On request it is possible to add two more beds or a cot for a child. The house is equipped with independent heating. The apartment is accessed through the garden, where a redbreast song comes to visit us every day.

The directions were accurate and the accommodations were perfect! I’ve never stayed in a property with a kitchen so well stocked. The bath was spotless & the shower worked great. Bed was comfortable and I loved the exterior shades you lowered from inside to provide privacy and a dark bedroom to sleep.

4 nights in Lucca before heading to the Tuscan coast for 10 nights and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Less than a 10 minutes walk to the Santa Maria city wall hate and the property has everything you need for a perfect stay. Highly recommended!!!

The property was very neat and clean. The owners were really helpful.

The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. The best part is that it is at a walking distance from the historic Lucca wall and all amenities, yet very secure, private and peaceful.

Out stay at the Robin's best was perfect. Laura is a gracious and welcoming hostess. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is easy walking distance to the Lucca city wall. I would highly recommend the Robin's Nest!

First time in Lucca

We loved this VRBO rental. This place was a very easy walk to inside the walls. We could easily come in for a nap and relax, then return later in the evening. Lucca was a city to remember. We used it as a base for several days. The place had plenty of room for the two of us with a very large kitchen. There is a large grocery within the walls. I cannot think of any comments for the hosts. We would recommend this rental.

This apartment was the best place we stayed at in Italy, and might be the nicest place we have ever stayed at for VRBO. Many times you temper your expectations for a stay, this place far exceeded any expectations we had. The kitchen is huge, it looks brand new, and has a beautiful rustic kitchen table that can possibly serve 10 people. We were not expecting a kitchen of this size in an apartment. We had breakfasts and dinners here and only ate out for lunch. The whole apartment is bright and cheery and looks as if it has been completed gutted and remodeled over the last two years. The apartment is located on the northeast side of the old walled city. It is within easy walking distance of two of the entry gates. The neighborhood is quiet, there is a beautiful garden just outside the apartment's entrance. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay or two nicer people who own it. Lucca is wonderful, in retrospect we should have stayed here longer as it was so relaxing. Walking on the walls of the old city, sitting and having an espresso with some amazing delectable pastry, having a late lunch and not being rushed to leave; this is Italy at its best.

Die Ferienwohnung hat alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Sie ist klimatisiert. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Tutto perfetto. Ottimo soggiorno a 2 passi dalle mura.

Check-in semplice e proprietari molto disponibili. La casa è pulitissima e molto ben distribuita. I letti son molto comodi e il tavolone della cucina è davvero una bel plus per dimensioni e utilità. La cucina è spaziosa molto bene attrezzata. Il bagno è ampio e completamente accessoriato e la doccia molto comoda. Il contesto tranquillo a 150m da PortaSantaMaria con un giardinetto privato, rendono l'esperienza di soggiorno estremamente rilassante e confortevole. I proprietari son molto gentili e sempre disponibili. Ottimo soggiorno. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Schöne Wohnung mit freundlichen Vermietern in guter Lage!

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern eine Woche in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt, daher 5 Sterne! Man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten an der historischen Stadtmauer und kann die Altstadt von Lucca zu Fuß erkunden. Für das Auto gibt es einen Parkplatz direkt am Grundstück. Die Wohnung ist sauber, geräumig und die große Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter wohnen ebenfalls im Haus und waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns gute Tipps für eine schöne Zeit in Lucca gegeben! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This rental hit all the right notes for us: -great location -very short walk into the heart of Lucca. - Just 2 blocks. -Large apartment with two bedrooms.
