Excellent stay, everything was perfect, very good help from the concierge Angelo. Chef Giovanna was amazing! highly recommended, thank you!! we will be back !!
We had a beautiful time during our stay at villa Campo dei Fiori. The property is amazing! Concierge Angelo was super helpful, and everything we coordinated with him was spectacular. We had chef Giovanna in twice, and she was wonderful!! If on vacation again in Puglia, we will definitely stay in this villa!
Our whole experience start to finish was special. From Angelo helping to coordinate special activities before our arrival in Italy, to Giovanna who cooked the most amazing meals for us. We felt at home. The Villa is fantastic, it is even more beautiful than the pictures!!!! Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!
This is by far the most beautiful and comfortable villa we have stayed in anywhere in Italy. As fine as the website photos are, they can't fully communicate the villa's refined elegance. It's like something out of Architectural Digest magazine. The location is relatively remote and anything worth visiting is at least a half hour drive. But the accommodations are so luxurious and the pool so inviting, you will be tempted to stay put.
It’s my second time at the property. It’s perfect for quiet get away. You’ll get the best sleep ever, watch beautiful sunsets while having a dinner outdoors, have aesthetic pleasure every minute. It’s equipped with everything necessary (dishes and utensils, glasses and cups, cooking equipment, towels). Make sure to bring your own shampoos and shower gel, that was not provided. Angelo(local villa’s manager) is very responsive and accommodating (even at 7.30am on Sunday if things go sideways with transportation). In general you should be prepared that people in South Italy are not necessarily punctual and 100% reliable So it’s a relief to have someone like Angelo who can fix those unpredicted situations. I strongly recommend to use contacts of service providers that villa’s managers will suggest. Because if reservations made by you through third parties don’t show up there’s not much Angelo can do.
We loved our stay at this masseria. It is wonderful for a big group and very friendly for kids of all ages. There are 6 separate buildings - kitchen/dining, living room, 2x 1 bedroom suites, 2x 2 bedroom suites. I only mention this in case it is helpful for those with kids to know - it is a great set up for multiple families with kids who want to share a property but also appreciate separate spaces. They provided a very comfortable travel cot for my toddler and there were toys and kids dining sets. The air conditioning worked very well and made relaxing inside extra comfortable. The outdoor space was incredible - very spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool and dining outside. The pizza with chef Marco was sooooo good - highly recommend. Kitchen was decently equipped as well for those who like to cook and lots and lots of wine glasses. We encountered two minor issues that were addressed immediately by the management team. We miss it already and wanted to come back for two weeks next time :)Two very very tiny things that could improve our stay: a safe to store our passports (not that we were ever worried but just for peace of mind), more variety in pillow firmness for sleeping. But this is not at all necessary - would come back every summer if we could!!!!

The Villa was amazing. The owner really did a great job architecturally. Its hard to discount the rental at all because it was better in person in so many ways. Highly recommended. If i have to say a few things just for owners reference is that a few of the showers needed upgrades do to the amount of calclium in water. In all not a big deal. I will also not that this house is geared more to the party that creates there own fun. Its a bit isolated but for us it was perfect. The small town or Martano is underated and should be visited at least once. It doesnt come alive until about 10:30pm with the children playing socced in the town square until midnight. note that the property is a solid 45 min from lecce and 1:30 from ostuni where it is much more touristy.
The location is very remote. Closest town / supermarket is 8 to 10 minutes away. We were blown away when we pulled up to the gates at the Villa. The grounds are incredible and the villa itself is amazing. Every room is impeccably decorated with the highest level of furniture. My only complaint would be the kitchen. It is not set up properly. It is missing many items to cook/serve with that a Villa of this caliber should have, especially one that sleeps 12 people. There is one refrigerator tucked away in a back pantry and the freezer broke every SINGLE day throughout our stay. The property manager tried to blame us for not closing it properly, and for putting too much food in it! The Villa Sleeps 12 people, and only has this one single poorly working refrigerator, where else are we supposed to put our food? This is my only complaint, we lost a lot of food because of it and it became extremely frustrating, esp because it was 95° and the closest supermarket is a decent drive. And then to be blamed on top of it is extremely insulting. We are on vacation, the last thing we want to do is deal with refrigerator problems. It seems the property manager (who could have been a little nicer) was familiar with the problems too because he knew exactly how to fix the problem every single time. This villa is definitely worth staying at but go into it knowing that you cannot stock enough frozen food for your party of 12 without it getting spoiled.
