Great house for a small family. We had a great time. There was an issue with the hot water heater one morning, but Jen was easy to get ahold of and the problem was fixed in no time!
Just got home from a two night stay at this property. I almost don’t want to give it 5 stars, because I want it to be my secret. The house is absolutely adorable, but unlike a real estate listing, that doesn’t mean small. Located on a quiet residential street just two short walkable blocks from town, the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay of any length. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, with a deep, private yard, and a porch swing you will not want to get out of. After one night, you will wish it were YOUR house. Couldn’t recommend it any more enthusiastically. I will be back.
We just loved this house because it had all the conveniences of home! It is a very old home which made us wonder how the people that lived there 100 years ago and how the house was when they lived back then.
Jennifer was the best in responding to our every need. We could see how she put her heart and soul into this house to make sure all her guests were comfortable in every way.....
We will be back next year!
We loved stayed at Jennifer’s house! The location can’t be beat- within walking distance from everything and yet gives you privacy. Jennifer was responsive and the house was charming. Would stay again!
We were both born and raised in Gpt. and have always loved coming back to visit in the summer. This home and property made it our most enjoyable stay ever! We loved the cute, comfy, cozy and quaint home, the wonderful yard, the awesome porch and the closeness to downtown. It was great having three bathrooms also. Jennifer (owner) was great also!
The owners thought of everything in this vacation home. We just called or texted her and the smallest problem was solved!
The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and most of all the kitchen was fully stocked with every pot, condiment, dishes, and small appliances possible.
I most definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a restful and quite time in Greenport. The town was in close walking distance to every quaint shop and restaurant.
We will definitely be coming back!
We had a wonderful time at this property. It’s situated close to town but at enough of a remove to feel like a true retreat. This home is quite spacious, yet at the same time cozy and “homey.” It’s quite clean and well-stocked, and the profile pics really understate how wonderful the side porch, large cooks kitchen, and large back yard are. The house is also set up in a way that you can both rest/relax and find space to work if needed. And the host was super responsive and communicative. Highly recommend!!
We had a great time exploring the North Fork in the fall - apple and pumpkin picking, beach walks, cute towns and great food! The house is located in Greenport just a few blocks from the main town with plenty of shopping and restaurants and an adorable carousel. The house was super clean and spacious and my kids loved the swings outside. Thanks for a great visit!
Been coming to Greenport for several years, and this is by far the best place I've ever stayed. The house has all the amenities you could need and it's an amazing location in town. The host was easy to get in contact with, and made sure everything went well with our trip.
We loved this charming house, well- located house. It held our extended family (5 + little one) with ease (3 bathrooms a huge plus!) but was cozy enough for just my husband & me when the kids left. The house is centrally located to all Greenport & the North Fork has to offer but honestly, our best times were spent playing board games around the dining room table, having morning coffee on the porch swing, or playing ball in the yard. We had a wonderful 10 days in this home.
This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint! We love this house, perfect for our group, the younger ones can walk right to town after visiting the many vineyards and breweries nearby. We had several meals at the house, eating most of them outside at a long table with chairs. The three bathrooms were key for our group, making getting ready that much easier. Lovely home located in a perfect location!

It was just what we were looking for, centerly located, clean and quiet.
We were in Greenport for my son's wedding and were hoping for a place to stay with some room to relax between activities. The house was perfect. We walked to town for dinner and browsing and were about a mile from the wedding venue. We were allowed to arrive early and stay late.

Little piece of heaven
We spent a wonderful week here with the whole family. We discovered Greenport and were delighted at how perfect the location of this house is. We walked to town and the harbor everyday. The house has so much character and history and accommodated all of us easily. The hardwood floors were absolutely amazing and a real walk back in time. The kitchen was well stocked and became our favorite place to be in the house. The backyard with it's huge table, grill and swing set were the perfect place to spend late afternoons and dinner. We highly recommend a stay in this house but not when we are there ;)

Amazing Vacation In Greenport!
This was our 3rd summer staying in Greenport and renting the same Adorable Home. The kids love the swings and huge backyard. So close to town, unreal!! We spent all our time on the porch even when it was raining. Unforgettable experience! The bbq was a great feature! Can't wait till next summer.

Charming, well-stocked and convenient
My family had a lovely week at this home. The two larger bedrooms were very comfortable and the air conditioning units alleviated the heat of a very hot and humid week. The backyard was great for our young children. We spent a lot of time around the kitchen island. This is a very short walk to town...my five year old walked to and from easily. Thank you for the hospitality!!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Marik
We have been enjoying our visits to Greenport for years, and were thrilled when we found this wonderful home. We look forward to our time out here and would love to share the home and the area with others!
Why they chose this property
The house is very versatile! Not too big for a single or couple looking for a quiet escape. Works for a small group of friends to share for a mellow getaway. Large enough for a family with small kids to have something more comfortable than a hotel - even room for grandparents to join! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
What makes this property unique
This is the perfect location - a quiet street just a quick walk from Front Street and all the wonderful restaurants and shops there. We love Mitchell Park and the carousel and its views of the marina and Shelter Island. And the library with the friendliest librarians is just around the corner.
