About this property

Charme and Elegance in Verona. Two steps from historical centre

This charming open space enjoys its independent entrance, but opens onto a fine flowery small common garden.
The living area features a double pull-out sofa bed (140x200 cm), a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with counter for four.
Three suggestive arches lead to the back area, that features a king size bed (180x200 cm), that we can make also as two wide twin beds, and a full bathroom with shower.
The elegant staircase you see in the living room photo can lead to the first floor apartment, that is totally independent and enjoys also its own entrance from outside, but that can connected to this one by an inner door, in case bigger parties wish to rent them together: see my other two listings under my profile.
Everything in the apartment - tableware, linens, appliances, etc. - is brand new and chosen with the utmost care to create a chic and charming ambience.
The building is located next to Ponte Pietra, in one of a most picturesque, quaint, pleasant areas of Verona, in the center and yet right out of the mass tourism routes.

NEW: on June 8, 2017, the funicolar (100 m from the house) was inaugurated and will take you to the Castel San Pietro hill. Roundtrip Prices: adults € 2 euro, children (under 10 years) and adults (over 65) € 1 (for over 65 the ticket will be free until July 10th). Length of the course: 159 meters. The funicular can carry 25 people. An intermediate stop is planned for the visit of the archaeological park of the Roman Theater. AMAZING VIEW ON VERONA!!!

Steps away you find plenty of grocery stores, ice-cream parlors, niche restaurants and coffee shops, chemist, and basically all you could wish for.

Loved our visit!

This is a lovely apartment, right by the river and the famous Ponte Pietra. Easy to communicate with Marina, find the place and check in. Loved being able to walk to so many beautiful parts of Verona and to have a cool refuge during the hot afternoons.

Great Place in a Great Location

Marina's apartment is outsanding. It's not big, but it has everything you could need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay in one of Italy's most beautiful cities. Very tastefully furnished and everything needed is supplied, The location is outstanding too, close to the Pietra Bridge, consequently within walking distance of some of the must-see destinations. Marina is a great host and we thank you for making our stay so memorable. Peter and Tina from Montreal.

Wonderful host

The vbro was very clean and beautifully decorated. It had a comfortable bed, pillows, comfortor. Shampoo was supplied along with plenty of nice towels. Tea & coffee. The host was very quick to respond to questions, offered recommendations and even helped us get a taxi when the language barrier prooved challenging to make the call ourselves. Would highly recommend staying here. Location also excellent. 10 min walk to the piazza with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping to choose from.

Sehr schönes mit viel Geschmack eingerichtetes kleines Appartement. Durch die Lage im Hinterhaus sehr ruhig. Die Klimaanlage war eine Wohltat Die ruhige Lage direkt an der Etsch und Ponte Pietra ist perfekt für Besuche in der Altstadt. Wir haben Verona wg. der Opernfestspiele besucht. Zu Fuß erreicht man die Arena in 15 bis 20 Minuten. Die Wohnung liegt gleich über den Fluss gegenüber dem ruhigeren Teil der Altstadt. Herzlicher und freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin Marina. Vielen Dank auch für die guten Restaurant-Empfehlungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

First, my wife and I loved Marina. The property was the best experience we had of the 7 we rented in 6 cities. The location was great, within walking distance from the center of Verona, as well as, all other attraction we wanted to see, including a great day trip to Sirmione, on Lake Garda (make a reservation at the hot springs spa in town, its amazing). We will be back, and hope to stay with Marina again.

We stayed one week in Verona in one of the two lovely appartments directly at the river Etsch with a beautiful view at Ponte Pietra. The appartment was clean, modern, secure and in every aspect high quality. We also could park our car in front of the building which is included in the booking. This place is a Gem. It all started with meeting the owner. She's fabulous and the type of person you would like to call your friend. The apartment was stunning in every way,decor, amenities,cleanlines (spotless and polished), comfortable furniture and beds Location couldn't be better. Just a short walk across the bridge and a few blocks to the center of Verona with great restaurants, Juliet's casa, etc. You're ratings don't go high enough because I would give this property and our hostess 7 (SEVEN) Stars If we get back to Verona there is no question This is where we'll stay!!!

Perfect in every way!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Marina was available for any questions we had and was so helpful. The apartment is in a great location and I loved being able to walk out and see the Ponte Pietra every morning. We visited 7 or 8 cities and Verona was our favorite! Several of our friends want to visit now! It was hard to leave this place! Thanks so much for a great stay! It really was perfect!

Excellent Apartment

We stayed in the apartment for four days whilst visiting Verona. It is very comfortable very well equipped, quiet and in an excellent location. Die Vermieterin ist erstklassig, ebenso das Appartement. 10min zum nächsten Supermarkt, der auch Sonntag geöffnet hat. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt gegenüber, Parkkarte gibt's gratis. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit Wein und Bier, Milch ausgestattet, Kaffee war auch vorrätig.

Beautiful Apartment in a stunning location.

We had a wonderful time in the Apartment in Verona. I very seldom give 5 stars but this one really deserves it. The place is nicely furnished in a beautiful old building. The location could not have been better. It’s close to the river, steps away from historic downtown but sill accessible by car and with free (!!!!) parking. One could walk from here to all downtown places, I had a nice jog along the river and there are grocery stores and restaurants close by. Maria welcomed us personally, showed us the apartment and gave us recommendations regarding restaurants and things to do. The kitchen was stocked with some supplies including coffee, snacks and beverages. The place has a small patio and we enjoyed several meals outside. Overall this is a very nice place and we had a great time there.

Wir waren 4 Tage für einen Kurzurlaub im Februar in Verona und durften den Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen Appartment verbringen. Die Einrichtung ist neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingericht, die Vermieterin sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und reaktionsschnell bei allen Anfragen. Das Appartment liegt direkt an der Ponte Pietra - und damit in unmittelbarer Fussreichweite ins Herz von Verona. Allerdings auch vorteilhaft in einem kleinen Hinterhof, so dass man den italienischel Verkehr & Trubel im Appartment selbst nicht mitbekommt. In wenigen Worten - alles perfekt um ein paar Tage Bella Italia inmitten Verona zu geniessen! Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt - den wir bedingunsglos weiterempfehlen können bzw. kommen sehr gerne selbst wieder!

What makes this property unique

L'Angolino Nascosto (Hidden Corner) is located next to Ponte Pietra, in one of a most picturesque, quaint, pleasant areas of Verona, in the center and yet right out of the mass tourism routes.
The building consists of three apartments completely restored and finished at the end of July 2015, furnished with great care to create a chic, refined and charming setting:
- ground floor: large studio
- 1st floor: one-bedroom
Upon request: ground floor and 1st floor can be a Duplex, joined by a beautiful and elegant interior staircase.
- 2nd floor: large one-bedroom apartment very bright.
The apartments can accommodate up to 4 people and can be rented for a weekend, for a week-long vacation or for stays of up to 6 months.
Each apartment is equipped with unique amenities, designed to recreate a family atmosphere and to make the guest feel at home.
Even those who come for work will find an ideal, quiet environment, equipped with internet and free wi-fi 24/24.
