A Cozy Home In The Keys

This very clean and well maintained lagoon home was the perfect February getaway. It’s location is a great base for many fun activities and day trips to other parts of the Keys. You have use of a two person kayak as well as two bikes which come in handy for cruising the neighborhood. It’s a quiet safe neighborhood and the neighbors we met while walking our dog were very friendly. There’s a very nice private community beach not far from the house. A big thank you to the owners Sue and Kevin!

Well-appointed home in a friendly, convenient neighborhood

We stayed for a month and had a wonderful, restful vacation. The layout of the home is very comfortable for 4-6 guests. The kitchen is well-stocked and a joy to cook in. The owners even decorated for the holidays! We will definitely be back! The home is convenient to both Marathon and downtown Islamorada, while quieter than either of those places.

We brought a large family and our boat and enjoyed our stay. We had some likes and dislikes as follows: -Good location close to shopping/entertainment by car. By boat close to the white marlin sandbar/channel 2. -House has some recent upgrades and was well appointed. AC/Hot water didn't disappoint. -Deep launch/BBQ Grille For dislikes: -Dock had no bumpers/cleats/filet station. -Aging Back Deck a slippery treacherous mess- EVERYONE slipped/tripped or fell going in and out of back door. In this case, a coat of paint made it worse... -cloth furniture/glass tables/tiled steps-split levels/unsecured furniture/low unlockable cabinets of cleaning chemicals/ kitschy nicknacks abound!! Which makes a vacation with small children much less than relaxing then it could be. Overall had a great stay, hope this helps...

Wonderful time

We were at this adorable house for 2 months, Feb. & Mar. 2018 . It was clean, well equipped & comfortable. The private beach was so nice even my husband, who is not a "beach person", loved it. Nice, safe neighborhood & so many good restaurants in Islamorada Sue & Kevin are easy to work with & always available if you need them. Would recommend & hope to be back.

Wonderful experience!

We spent a blissful month at the house. It was great to have a fenced yard for our 2 dogs, and we enjoyed taking the 2 bikes to the private beach. The kayak was great too. The house is located within a short drive of many fun restaurants & we took full advantage of them- especially for Happy hours, with music & great food. If you show your rental agreement at Founder's park, they'll give you a pass that admits you to another beach, an Olympic sized pool, a dog park & more. Our landlords could not have been nicer, and we felt right at home.

Great Home and Even Better Owners!!

This house was great!! It was very clean, well maintained, very cozy and comfortable. Kevin and Sue were there when I arrived and told me they would be available for any questions and for the few I had they were very responsive and friendly. The location of this house for our trip could not have been in a better location, if you like fishing and diving it is in the heart of the action. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The private beach was a huge hit for evening sunsets and daytime chilling. As a family who owned a home in the keys for 25 plus years and this was our first rental EVER!! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great home in the middle of everything with a pair of owners you just can't beat......Thanks Kev and Sue for everything and we will see you next time!!

Fantastic property

The property is located at the southern part of is Isamoralda. You were a few miles from the restaurants and 20 miles to Marathon and 60 miles from Key West. The house had 3 bedrooms and their was just the two of us. The property was very well maintenance. The house was nicer than all the pictures. The owners put very nice pictures on the walls. The property had a washer dryer. The owners were always available by telephone.We called a few times and got a response either immediately or a few hours later. The Owners were very helpful in referrals to restaurant.banks or anything we needed to know. We certainly would refer to friends or relatives. Near by was Theater of the sea. I'm n Marathon was,the turtle research, the dolphin research and othe great places to visit.
