Great location… easy walk to public transportation, restaurants and groceries. Flat was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was quick and easy. Great place to stay! Loved the flat and London!
The property is lovely. A true English experience. It was very clean and in a great location, 5 min walk to shopping and 10min walk to 3 different train stations.
My only criticism is that the wifi only worked properly in the main bedroom.
Overall I would highly recommend this property.
Great property in a great location. A bit far out from the city center, but it was a nice area to come home to each day. Lots of conveniences nearby. Beautiful kitchen, too.
We had a wonderful stay at our flat 19A. Coming from the US we did have questions on a few thing and Sandra was very quick to respond to us. We had everything needed to make our stay wonderful
We had a wonderful stay here. The flat was a perfect size for our family of four. We loved the back garden! The kitchen was very well appointed for cooking easy meals. The beds were very comfortable. Chiswick is a great place for a family to stay- we loved relaxing on the green during the evening. We found the area easily served by the district line and enjoyed the short walk from the station to the flat. The high street had plenty of food options for when we wanted to stay local. We would absolutely stay here again.
Wonderful Location and beautiful property! Easy commute on tube via the district line to major tourist areas. Chiswick village; park and stores all an easy walk.
We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay while visiting family in Chiswick. The flat is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and everything was is good working order. It is a comfortable walk to the Chiswick High Street and two tube stations. Sandra was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I had a great stay at Sandra’s place. It's a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything was easily accessible by tube, overground, or bus. If you are looking for a place to escape the busyness of the city of London but still have access to the city center, this place is perfect. We also went to Wembley Stadium during our stay, and that was easy to reach as well. The flat was just as shown in the pictures, with enough space for the four of us! I would definitely book with Sandra again.
The reviews are spot on. My family had a very nice stay here. The layout is a duplex and you stay in the ground level unit. There is no AC, but the floor fan kept us cool (and one bedroom has French doors that can be opened at night to keep things cool). I also loved staying in Chiswick. Very quaint area with lots of shops and restaurants. We would visit central London during the day and then enjoy getting out of the chaos and back to Chiswick in the evening. And if you’re a Ted Lasso fan, the pub where they filmed is just a quick train station away (Richmond)!
We enjoyed our stay in Sandra and marcus appartement. Although we never get to meeting us, Sandra gave us detailed instructions by email. The apartment is in a very Nice and quiet neighbourghood, it’s comfortable and relaxed with a fully equiped kitchen, two spacious bedrooms with very good mattress and a Nice garden. Two subway stations are near : gunnersbury and chiswick Parka and it takes around 50 minutes to get there from saint pancréas’
The flat was wonderful, just like the photos suggest. It is cozy, has a great kitchen, firm mattresses, and a wonderful shower. The private garden in the back is lovely to look at and step out into even in rainy October. Sandra and her husband are excellent, responsive hosts. Chiswick village is delightful and we highly recommend Rhythm & Blues coffee/restaurant, a three-block walk. Central London is an easy Tube ride. We plan to return (from the US).
We spent a lovely week in this Chiswick flat. Three adults and space was great. Clean, well organized, great shower!, comfy beds. Loved walking 10-15 minutes each day to tube. 20-30 minutes into central London. Real surprise was Chiswich High road lots of great restaurants. Check out Queen's Head around the corner for a pint. Sandra responded quickly to my one issue and resolved it.
The area is great and you are close to the tube. There are two markets near by so you can cook in the fully stocked kitchen.
We had relaxing evenings in the patio and I slept in the front bedroom with the bay window. The furniture is so elegant and I wanted pack my dresser in my suit case.
I was so happy with this place and I highly recommend it. The host was so helpful with my many questions.
This home is a true gem.
We stayed with our two kids for 5 nights. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Grocery store and underground stations are within 8 min walk. The nearby park is beautiful.
Kitchen is equipped with anything you may need.
Would absolutely recommend this place. We would stay here again. We did not use the outdoor garden but had a door wide open for fresh air. Seat pillows for chairs and table clothes for outdoor table would probably make it more inviting.

Disappointing stay
We have done many holiday rentals, but unfortunately this is the first that disappointed for very serious reasons. On day 5 of our 8 night stay, a rodent was discovered in the kitchen.
This had a significant impact on our stay, causing us a great deal of stress & additional financial expenses as we were not then comfortable preparing food on the premises.
Overall, this issue far overshadowed any of the positives of this rental.
This is a "TRAUMUNTERKUNFT "(please translate!) for up to 4persons
Very well equipped flat including a marvellous garden with the possbility to eat outside under the sun ,calm only to hear the birds singing(only very senstive people may be disturbt by the planes of Heathrow).
The situation of the flat is very good for trips in the neighbourhood in West- London for example "Kew- Garden or the "Wetland center"
We had a lovely week here and so we send many thanks to Mrs. Edwards

This very charming two bdr quality decor and furnishings inclusive of king bdr. Best shower ever.
Homey, with garden, kitchen skylight next to well appointed living room with french doors to large welcoming garden table, chairs under umbrella of trees. Upscale bathroom and best shower ever. Better than most vistors own homes. Need car if you're not a walker. Neat must dine or drink at The Queen's Head, steps from this perfect street level flat. If you have a car there is parking at front door. If not--and we didnt have car, we hired "Vale" car service, a 24/7 for appts such as The Shard. We loved the art, architecture, and ambiance of this flat in classy Chiswick area of London.
Property is as advertised though I misunderstood the layout and did not realize the entrance to the downstairs apartment is on the side of the house. This was a concern for us because my husband is in a wheelchair. It was a learning curve for us to figure how to assist him out of the chair and over the 2 levels into the apartment. He has a folding wheelchair which was necessary as a wheelchair cannot be used in the apartment. Sandra obviously takes good care of her property and it shows. Overall a clean, comfortable place to stay in a convenient location for enjoying London and its’ surroundings. Would consider this property again especially knowing what to expect now.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home in London!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home in London! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the tube station and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated - we felt right at home as soon as we arrived.
The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the living room was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. We also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the comfortable beds, which ensured a good night's sleep every night.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful garden - it was so peaceful and tranquil, and the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.
The hosts were fantastic and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay - they were quick to respond to any questions we had, and even left us some thoughtful treats and recommendations for local attractions.
Overall, we would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting London - it's the perfect base for exploring the city, and we can't wait to come back and stay again soon!
We had a wonderful time and felt the apartment met our needs quite well. Since my friend and I are over 70 and have some mobility issues, we did find the 2 steps up to get to the bedrooms to be challenging since the hallway is narrow and there is currently not a rail to grasp. also the laundry is down a steep stairs to the basement. Just had to be careful. The only other is is poor television reception so unable to watch local programming and the internet is slow but worked. Given these things, we still loved the place, the kitchen and bathroom were very upscale and the garden is a lovely place to relax.
There is a bus stop 0.1 mile away which runs often so easy get around. It does take about 45 minutes to get into central London but Chiswick had lots of great restaurants, shopping and parks close by and not hectic like the city central so a wonderful balance for our time there. Did not get to meet Sandra but Maurice was a kind and lovely host and would highly recommend for someone taking a leisurely holiday in London.
