This cottage has been very well modernised. It is warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome with fresh scones, jam and cream. Thank you very much
Fantastic place with fireplace and well equipped kitchen
I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was impeccably clean and the big windows made the rooms very bright. I cooked most of my meals there and the kitchen had everything I needed (except a vegetable peeler!). There were multiple ways to make coffee and more very good coffee in town. I had a fire in the fireplace each night and it was really easy as sticks and logs were provided. Joe and his mum Shirley were friendly, responsive, helpful and just really pleasant people. I hope to return to Bude and I would come back and stay here for sure.
We had a wonderful stay in the cottage and was thrilled to find the property exceeded our expectations. The cottage was of a very high standard and met all our needs. The owners made us extremely welcome and passed on some great local ideas for eating. All in all, a very enjoyable stay and would certainly return.
Absolute gem of a property, perfect location 400 yards from coastal path, half mile to the canal , lovely little village excellent facilities a great time was had by all, quick response from Joe to any queries prior to arrival and mum Shirley was an excellent host , definitely to be recommended
This is a wonderful property.

The property is situated a stones throw to the spectacular coastal path and all the local attractions and amenities.
Padstow, Boscastle, tintagel, Port Issac are a short drive away.
Bude itself is a very pretty little town with great eateries ,sites and walks.
After a busy day there was no better end than to grab the wine from the wine fridge and sit back by the log burner and relax.
The hosts Joe and his mum Shirley were very welcoming and helpful.
Joe knows some great walks for the avid ramblers.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, we came away thinking we had know them for ages.
This cottage is a gem of a find the only complaint I have is its not mine.
You won't go wrong with this cottage and the wonderful hosts.
We will be back .....again and again
Perfect location to relax in beautiful surroundings
Very well equipped and spacious property, ideally located very close to the coastal path just off a quiet country lane. Excellent kitchen for communal cooking which we all enjoyed. I would highly recommend.
This property is high-spec and generally well-maintained, although there were a few minor points, such as a bathroom sink plug that would not close and a bath plug that was a design weakness (it kept opening without an invitation!), and drainage from the wet room shower not adequate. But none of this affected the enjoyment our stay and also the surrounding area. Everything needed in the kitchen was there, and more than one might reasonably expect. One of us was unwell during our stay and the owner's representative was very kind and thoughtful in response. We would hope to return here.
