About this property

This is a stunning top floor penthouse in a small development an easy walk to La Cala centre and the beach. The building is only 3 storeys high with 14 apartments, 2 on the penthouse level.The lift takes you right to the penthouse door. The apartment has an enormous wrap around terrace on three sides facing east, south and west ensuring sun all day right to the point of sunset. There are sea glimpses to the east and spectacular sunsets over the mountains to the west. Terrace furniture includes 2 dining tables, 4 recliners, a lounging area with sofa, armchairs and coffee table and a gas bbq, allowing you to dine or recline at any time of the day in the sun. The apartment has been completely renovated in 2017 with 2 new bathrooms, new kitchen with granite work surfaces, and all new furniture. The master bedroom has built in slide robes and an en suite with double sink and walk in shower. The second bedroom is next to a shower room with double sink. The lounge dining room is open plan to the kitchen. You can walk out to the terrace from the kitchen, both bedrooms, the living and dining area making the outdoors/ indoors living flow easily. Facilities include wifi, full UK/ROI TV with Sky package including sports and movies, air conditioning, nespresso machine, safe and wifi audio speaker for music. All linens are provided including recliner towels and pool/beach towels. The pool has a children's pool beside it. There are landscaped gardens with recliners and a paddle tennis court in the grounds. The ever impressive beachside town of La Cala is a straight completely flat walk of no more than 10 minutes away so no car is required, even for those with young children. The complex is at the edge of La Noria golf course where you could walk to the first tee. The beach is a Blue Flag beach, with an amazing walkway, starting at the heart of the town at its ancient tower and running several km towards Cabo Pino and allowing you to access lots of amazing chiringuitos (beach restaurants) on route.This is the perfect apartment for any style of holiday, lazy days in the sun, at the beach ,multiple nearby golf courses, great restaurants, shops and easy access to all the delights of the Costa Del Sol and Andalucia.

Great apartment

The apartment was modern, clean and in an ideal location. The town and beach were a short walk away where there are many restraints and bars. There are a couple of supermarkets one a five minute walk away from the apartment. We did not have a car and didn’t really need one. The outside space which was a wrap around balcony was exceptional. Very large with a number of seating areas and always shade available if needed. The kitchen was very compact with very little worktop space so quite challenging at times however was well stocked with utensils crockery and glasses. The grounds around the apartment were lovely with lots of grassy areas and a large communal pool. We had a wonderful time .

Retirement break

The property is located 10 minutes walk from La Cala resort centre. 6 minutes to supermarket. Very large terrace, private, two bedrooms with good air conditioning. TV has lots of English language channels. Beds comfortable if a little narrow. Kitchen well stocked with amenities although we couldn’t get the oven to heat up, even with the instruction manual. The apartment was generally clean although there were some ants but we sorted them out. Overall we had a really good time. Thanks Mike and Lynn

Excellent apartment with spacious terrace where we spent most of our time. Everything you might need on holiday supplied by the owners. Adjacent filling station handy for general supplies as was nearby Aldi. Would return.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location

We wholeheartedly endorse all the many positive comments and reviews about this wonderful penthouse apartment, which is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. No car needed, as it is within walking distance of everything; La Cala de Mijas is a lovely and lively little town, full of excellent bars and restaurants. Communication with both Conor and Fiona was absolutely excellent, they were easily contactable and helpful both prior to and during our stay. We thoroughly recommend this holiday accommodation.

Fantastic Apartment

Having stayed in this area previously, I already rated the location highly as it is a short flat walk into town. The apartment itself is hard to fault. It is very well appointed and the wrap around terrace is a highlight. I can highly recommend this apartment.
