A spacious 2 bed flat with an ensuite, in a quiet leafy residential development in Zone 2, next to Thames. The place is tastefully decorated, furnished & fitted with a new kitchen.
It has well-connected transport links from East India DLR station (3mins walk away) to O2 (2 train stops away), ExCeL (3 train stops away), Canary Wharf (10mins walk or 3 train stops away) & Westfield Stratford (15mins train ride). On-site, there's a playground, local grocery store & free parking just outside the flat.

The flat has been tastefully decorated and furnished as well as refitted with a kitchen and new washer/dryer. It has a wooden floor throughout with tiles in kitchen and bathrooms. It has an ensuite room with king size bed, a twin room, a family bathroom with shower and a spacious living room with a sofa bed that can sleep two adults. Rooms are recently fitted with black-out window blinds. It also has a baby cot, if you need it. The flat is airy and well-lit with a Juliet balcony and a large window in each of the bedrooms.
If car park is needed, it is possible for guest to obtain free parking permits to park on the premises.

The flat is located in Virginia Quay development which is a leafy residential place just next to the Thames and an area reserves as a bird sanctuary. It has a 24 hour concierge service on-site, a children's playground and a small football / basketball court. There's also a local grocery shop (Nisa) that is opened 7 days a week!
The closest station is the East India DLR station which is just 3 minutes walk away. It has both lifts and escalators. It connects conveniently to the O2 (2 stops on the DLR) and ExCeL centre (1 stop on DLR and 1 stop on Jubilee line).
For the shoppers and diners, Canary Wharf is only 10-15 minutes walk or 2 stops away on the DLR, while Westfield Stratford shopping centre is about 15 minutes away by train. For the good ol' Oxford street, it is about 30 minutes away by train.
A scenic journey into central London (with minimal walking too) is by taking DLR into Royal Victoria, then take the Emirates cable car to O2 (North Greenwich). From O2, take the Thames clipper into central London while passing through sites like the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, London Eye and Westminster.

The DLR service runs to Tower Gateway or Bank which connects to the London underground network via District/Circle Line or Central Line, respectively. The DLR also runs to Canning Town where the Jubilee Line connects to London Bridge, Westminster, Bond Street and towards Wembley.
The great thing about DLR is that it runs from 5.30am till 1am Mon-Sat and 7am till midnight on Sun and the trains are very frequent.
For those interested in cycling, there is a Bike hire station just outside East India DLR station which is 3 mins walk from the flat.
London City airport is only 9 minutes away via DLR (4 stops). Gatwick takes about an hour while Heathrow about 1.5 hours by train. For Stansted, you can take a coach from Stratford or by train and underground in around 1.5 hours.

We used to travel a bit but that's before we have our two beautiful children. The places we love are like Iceland, Berlin, Hong Kong, Paris, Venice, Budapest and Spain. But now, it's usually the more kids-friendly type of travel :)
Why they chose this property
This flat is special to us as it is where we lived when we got married and have our little family. We got this place initially as it has superb transport connections to city centre and at the same time being a quiet residential place, a rare combination in London these days.
We do host our lovely flat and if you are planning to stay there, then we hope you enjoy it as much as we did. The location is superb in terms of access and convenience ;)
