A good location marred by poor management.

Great location in front of the beach but unfortunately we will not be returning for a variety of reasons. Firstly it simply was not clean on arrival: we found a broken jagged piece of glass amongst the crockery, a piece of salad under a sofa cushion, a very greasy table cloth (so bad that things stuck to it), and floors that needed a clean. In addition, there were kitchen cupboard doors that didn’t slide, a wardrobe door knob that fell off, and a fridge that leaked water with a freezer compartment door that fell off. Many of the kitchen items are best described as cheap, or old and very worn. In sum, there was a general sense that the apartment had not been properly cleaned for some time, and had been poorly maintained. Also far from ideal was the fact that there was no way to open the bedroom windows more than a couple of inches with the shutters down, whilst one bedroom was directly above a rear entrance with an external light. At the same time, neither bedroom had curtains. On arrival, there also seemed to be a lack of clarity as to exactly where we could park the car. We were advised of the place to park only to be later informed by a neighbour that we were parking in his reserved place (so that we had to park some distance further from the apartment). Unsurprisingly, he was a little angered by this error. Having moved to the more distant car park, we then discovered that there were no places available if you arrive back after 8-9pm. On leaving, we agreed a departure time of 12.00 only to find the cleaner arrived at 11.30 am. Lastly, we found it highly inconvenient that only one set of keys was provided. We have stayed at many French properties and found the standard to be generally good. But sadly not in this case. On the plus side, there’s a good shower, ok beds, and a great view. It’s just a pity that the apartment is not better equipped and managed.

On sort par la porte et on est dans l"ocean

On a passé un tres agreeable weekend prolongé a deux couples. L'appartement ideal en taille, acces a l'ocean, magasins, restaurants, navette bateau pour aller au vieux port. Tout pres du phare de la fin du monde. Jolie balade possible directement le long du littoral jusqu'a Ayrte. A refaire. Tres gentille proprietaire. t depuis l'appartement le londljusqu'Ayrte

Emplacement idéal, appartement confortable

Proche de la plage, de la cĂŽte, de la ville (arrĂȘt bus Ă  quelques mĂštres), l'appartement est bien Ă©quipĂ© et suffisamment grand (deux vraies chambres). La boulangerie en bas est top, petits commerces Ă  proximitĂ©, trĂšs bon glacier.

Idéalement situé avec magnifique vue

Appartement conforme aux photos et idéalement situé, proche commerces, accÚs direct plage, à 20 mn vieux port de la Rochelle, proche transports en communs (bus et bus de la mer). La vue plage et mer est magnifique, on ne s'en lasse pas, quoi de mieux que de commencer la journée avec un petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. TrÚs bon accueil, appartement propre et confortable, trÚs bien équipé. A relouer sans hésiter.

Superbe emplacement

Emplacement privilégié avec vue sur la plage. Un plaisir de commencer la journée avec un bon petit déjeuner sur la terrasse en regardant les jolis voiliers. L'appartement est confortable, bien équipé. On a eu de la vaisselle sale à notre arrivée mais probablement imputable aux précédents occupants. La place de parking est trÚs petite mais elle dépanne bien. On reste ravi de notre séjour.

Tres bel emplacement

Superbe accueil par Françoise. Appartement trÚs agreable, refait à neuf. L'emplacement estmagique, face à la mer sur un espace piéton. Port de la Rochelle a 20 mn à pied en longeant la mer. L'ßle de Re est à quelques kms...un régal! Je recommande.

Betten sind etwas zu Kurz (Vintage-Stahlbetten) und die mit Kabelbinder fixierten Lattenroste passen nicht in Gestell. dreht man sich im Bett, Rumpelt es im der ganzen Wohnung. Geschirr und Besteck ist zusammengewĂŒrfelt. Parkplatz in der Garage zu Eng fĂŒr heutige VerhĂ€lnisse. Top ist die NĂ€he zum Strand, der direkte Zugang vom Haus an den Strand, die ruhige Lage der Schlafzimmer und die Wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Meer.

Belle vue mer et sur le phare du bout du monde!

L'appartement est trÚs agréable et calme. Belles promendes à faire le long de la cÎte et vers le centre de la Rochelle. Commerces de proximité. Nous avons été trÚs bien accueillies par les propriétaires. Tres bon séjour.

Agréable séjour

Appartement correspondant exactement aux descriptif et photos. Les pieds dans l’eau. Tout Ă  proximitĂ©. Des vacances sans voiture. Restaurant terrasse en dessous sans que cela gĂȘne. Un conseil, prendre le forfait vĂ©lo YELO de La Rochelle (2€ pour 2 jours pour des trajets de moins de 30 mn ou 5€ les 7 jours), cela permet de rejoindre le centre ville en 10 mn Ă  vĂ©lo, piste cyclable tout le long du port PrĂ©voir des chaussures de plage

Es war rundum perfekt

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt . Der Balkon mit Meerblick war der Hit . Jeden Morgen am Atlantik entlang laufen war wunderschön. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Strand vor der HaustĂŒr-was will man mehr ;-)

TrÚs bon séjour

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour. TrĂšs bon accueil et communication avec Mme Ondet parfaite. L'appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ© avec son accĂšs direct Ă  la plage qui est au top. La vue est superbe. Si j'avais un petit bĂ©mol Ă  apporter sur l'appartement cela serai les VMC qui font beaucoup de bruit et sont en mauvais Ă©tats. La place de parking non attitrĂ©e n'est pas prĂ©cisĂ©e dans l'annonce. Il y a bien un parking privĂ© et sĂ©curisĂ© mais par contre pas de place attitrĂ© donc pas sur d'avoir une place. Il nous ai arrivĂ© plusieurs fois de devoir nous garer a l'extĂ©rieur du parking de la rĂ©sidence a quelques mĂštres de l'appartement. Je tiens Ă  prĂ©ciser que cela ne nous a pas empĂȘchĂ© de passer de bonnes vacances. Je recommande cette belle location.
