The location of this place could not have been any better--only 5 minutes away from Pedernales State Park! Views of both the sunrise and sunset made for a great start and end to each day. The cabin is simple and rustic, with plenty of room for a large family. Only item to note--the well water is a bit briny so bring plenty of water to drink--showers, etc. are fine. We would definitely stay there again.
The Hilltop was a great place to stay for our 4th of July fun! It was close enough to Johnson City to see the fireworks on the 4th and is just south of Pedernales Falls State Park where we went hiking and hung out in the river. All of my family was in awe of the property. The pictures do not do it justice! The cabin is huge and clean and has the necessary amenities for cooking and hanging out. My husband and stepson sure made use of the ping pong table! And the treehouse is pretty sweet! The sunrise and sunset views from the property are absolutely gorgeous! While we were still there, my family was already talking about staying here again. The owner Billy was very quick to respond to all of my questions. We'll definitely be back!
We had another magical hill country weekend at the Valley View cabin (we were here last year, had such a great time that we came back for more). The house is exactly as listed... simple, clean, comfortable.. situated in a gorgeous spot in the hill country. It's the perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway. Highly recommended.

Can't beat it
The hilltop was an awesome place to stay for a weekend get away to the Hill Country. With is proximity to Pedernales Falls State Park and Dripping Springs, it is really hard to beat. The property itself is beautiful and sprawling. Our dog loved running around exploring the grounds. The cabin was really comfortable as well. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be planning another trip out here!

Really it was the killer views. Great place to stare into space.
What makes this property unique
Highest hill in Blanco County. Pedernales Falls hiking for those less lazy than me.
