Great stay
Awesome cottage and perfect stay. Plenty of privacy, great location, very clean. Has a great Mediterranean vibe as pictured and is close to the beach. Thanks Christy and Tim!
It’s a perfect place for two people to stay it is just enough. It’s close to downtown Ventura, the highway and the beach. My grandchild loves to visit the “Little House” and so do we. We plan to stay again in the future.

Lovely little spot
This property is nice for 2 people and centrally located. Martha Young
Would highly recommend staying in this casita. It is quite a treasure and the owner was very responsive to all correspondence. The beautiful patio offers ocean views and a great place to have breakfast. It was very peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed sleeping with our windows open to take advantage of the cool ocean breeze. Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in Ventura.
The location of this cute bungalow is very close to downtown and is in a gorgeous neighborhood. The decor is very California/Mediterranean and is very pretty, thoughtful and comfortable. It felt like we had our own little house. Very private. It had everything we needed for a great stay.
Tucked away in the hills of Ventura in a quiet neighborhood, this tiny, charming cottage was a perfect fit. A comfy bed and all the amenities you need. Close to downtown and the beach. A stunning view from the patio. It’s a winner!
Gorgeous property in the hills above Ventura.
The cottage was Adorable, comfortable and beautifully maintaine. Yes, there are 42 stairs from the street parking, but not bad!
Overall, we were very pleased! Excellent choice for a vacation! We will be back!
The property was just awesome secluded but yet close to everything within minutes. Peaceful and quiet, waking up to the birds singing, was so relaxing. It was exactly what I needed to get away from my work and normal day to day. Although I had to do some work from there which was easy to get to the things I needed to get the work done and get on with the relaxing. Absolutely loved it!
Must remind long range prospects on the 43 steps to cottage. It is cozy and comfortable for short stays. Parking is challenging. Location provides easy access to area. No beach essentials provided.

Intimate and private Mediterranean-like getaway!
What a lovely bungalow! This jewel of a cottage is perfectly decorated with the mexican tile in the kitchen, bathroom, and floor, and the king chair is soooo comfortable! The bougainvillea was abounding and provided privacy. In all, we kinda' felt like we were in the mediterranean with the ocean view in the distance! Close to downtown Main Street and San Buenaventura State Beach. We wished we could have stayed an extra day! Thank you Christy and Tim for sharing such a special place for our anniversary celebration!
My husband and I stayed for a few nights in July at The Sleepy Cat Inn, and we completely enjoyed our stay! It was just the perfect size for the two of us and very private. The bed and linens were premium quality. We were very comfortable! The kitchenette was well stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals. We used the barbecue and enjoyed our sunset meals at the table on the lower front deck of the house. Beautiful garden and landscaping! We loved the easy parking and close access to the coast, marina and downtown Ventura. Hope to return again soon! Thank you, Christy!
Very clean. Excellent attention to detail. My husband and I came for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us to stay to enjoy Ventura. It is located behind the owners home but feels very private. The view from the lower deck is beautiful when the sky is clear. We were there during a rainy spell, but we still got one day to enjoy the view. I loved the location. Felt very safe, the cottage was cozy and the bed comfortable. There are stairs as the description mentions but was not a problem for us. Thank you for a great stay!
We stayed just over a week and it was enjoyable!
Property was just as described and had even more amenities and caring touches that we weren't expecting. It has everything you need, aside from your own food and beverage.
There was a designated parking spot just for us. It felt secure in a nice neighborhood, such that we felt safe to sleep with the windows open and listen to the crickets at night and the birds in the morning. Beautiful views and foliage. We accidentally crossed paths with the host, who was very friendly and otherwise let us keep to ourselves the whole time.
10/10 recommend this property. Just be mindful (for any who are challenged with mobility) that you'll be carrying your luggage up and down a series of steps. It's worth the exercise :)
