Feels like this could be home

Great property! When they say, 'location, location, location" this place has it. The Cliffs property is conveniently located close to the market, golf course, and a variety of restaurants. Our condo was comfortable ans the view from our condo was spectacular! People we met were all very friendly.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful time in this resort, the unit was clean and spacious and close to every commodities. We loved the view from the balcony and the grass field in front of the unit. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful spot

Lovely view. The resort is right on the edge of the cliffs with chairs to sit and watch the waves. Saw whales! It was nice to have a besch umbrella snd chairs! The unit needs upkeep (rusty fridge, damaged cabinets, patio door got stuck closed a couple of times) but we were happy to overlook that.

Great unit tucked in the corner

This corner unit has a good view of the ocean, and is located at the farthest end of the development, away from the the noise and energy of parking lots, maintenance workers and other visitors. It's not super stylish - furniture and layout could use an update - but it's comfortable...perfect for a couple. One small criticism: The kitchen could use new pots/pans, and beach chairs/umbrella are ready to be retired. All of that said, this is probably the best of about five different places we've stayed in Princeville, and we would happily return.

Absolutely breathtaking

The room has breathtaking views. I would stay here again in a heart beat and looking forward to our take trip. Already looking at dates for next year. This place provided chairs for beach umbrella. Hotel like shampoo and lotions individual which was so nice. Not a huge family style was brought piece of mine of use else has used this? Gave sponge and dish soap. Laundry soap. Was super clean. Wish i could give 10 stars. Lovely and such a Aloha feel. Ocean view, garden and mountain view. Spent mornings on lanai with coffee watching sunrises and dinners watching sunsets. Took lei making class! 100% you will enjoy this place.

Cliffs at Princeville 6201 January 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a perfect location at the Cliffs. Beautiful views from the second floor balconies off both the living area and the Bedroom. The interior of the unit leaves much to be desired. The the wood laminate on all the doors is peeling off. The carpeting is stained. The front of the refrigerator appears to have been "painted" to cover up wear but the "paint" just looks dirty - as do the cabinets. There is a "fan" in the bedroom that is so rusty it is scary. I covered it with a towel and turned it around so as to not have to look at it. The washing machine did not work and even leaked. Management quickly came and tried to fix it - but it was unusable during our stay. I slept in the bed by the closet and woke up with strange bites. My husband did not have this issue. The unit smells quite musty -- probably from the carpeting. The rice cooker did not heat. This wasn't a big issue - but better to not have an electrical appliance than one that doesn't work. The kitchen dishes and flatware were all new and very good. Management was very responsive. They were very concerned and helpful about the washing machine issue and allowed us to have a later checkout (noon) as we had an evening flight. So location and management were great. Inside - Pretty bad.

Full kitchen and BBQ made it easy to eat in.

The actual unit was not updated. This was not a big deal because it was in amazing shape and super clean. The hosts also were very responsive to a few issues. I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. I would highly recommend it.

Gorgeous north shore

We truly enjoyed our experience on the north shore. The condo is a bit dated and could use up dating however it is in a good location, central to everything, it was comfortable and met all our needs. The view and proximity to the water was most important to us and we were not disappointed.

North Side of Kauai

Very spacious for two people. Would have been interesting with more people because the two beds are in the same room. Very nice place and nice amenities. A bit expensive, although we came during a high demand time of year. As advertised. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, which I guess can happen when you go to Kauai. The rain does mean that the area is super lush and green everywhere. If we went back to Kauai we would probably stay on the south side., where the weather is supposed to be better.

We were looking for a nice quiet place to stay and explore the area. We wanted a view and well appointed kitchen. I knew the unit we rented was right for us when we arrived because they had our favorite cookbook on the counter! We want to return and stay longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Best view at the Cliffs

This end of Building 6 has the best views of all the units at the Cliffs (front Lanais looks at the ocean, back lanai has a great garden view) all the other buildings look at parking lots. This unit COULD BE over the top if it was renovated. The cabinets, refrigerator, doors, bathrooms etc are all original and really need to be replaced. All that said, spend time out on the Lanais and look at the views and the rest doesn’t matter so much!

What a perfect home base for our Kauai trip!

We LOVED the stay at the Cliffs. It was perfect for our little family of 3. It had the most beautiful view where we could see pods of whales out the kitchen and balcony. We really had a great time there. We used the community BBQ and met some fellow travelers and swam in the beautiful pool and our 2 year old played on the playground. It was truly amazing. We loved it!!! And will definitely choose the same unit and condo as it is the perfect location and quiet part of the island. Everything we were looking for!

Great property, location, many things to do, was like a home away from home really. Beds very comfortable, spacious apartment with great amenities. Only downside of entire stay that was not related with the property but could have improved experience is food shopping! The closest market at Princeville is extortionately priced!! I mean 8 dollars for bread. We later found on our tour of the island a Walmart. Had we have known this we would have gone there. Maybe to advertise this as we were not expecting to have to spend over 200 dollars for food for 5 days!!!

We import most of our food, so groceries will be more expensive than on the mainland. In addition, we invite all our guests to download our mobile app or access our online guest portal which provides, along with recommended activities and sights, a directory with a list of grocery stores island-wide, including Walmart.

the most poorly furnished and the most in need of maintenance of any condo we have stayed in.

needs painting, a thorough cleaning, replacement of the couch, and cleaning or replacement of the window blinds. Only two burners worked on the stove ( as noted in a previous comment ) Kitchen floor is bare concrete. Super cheap underpowered microwave. Lanai furniture is badly chipped and rusty. Louver doors were so dirty in the bathroom that I cleaned them myself. Housekeeping was supposed to come to clean them but never showed( seven days). We have stayed in other condos in Princeville over the last thirty years including Pali Key Kua, Sealodge , Alliki Kai, and others at the Cliffs but never one this run down. Other than a nice view, I could not recommend this condo

Aloha James, weʻre sorry you were disappointed with our home. You didn't contact us about any of the problems you had so unfortunately they weren't addressed while you were here. The stove has all burners functioning; they needed re-seating after you departed, but we would have fixed them sooner had you told us. The floor is not concrete, it's tile. The microwave and lanai furniture are brand new, purchased during the weeks before your arrival. Rust is a problem that we have here in the sub-tropics. Please note that the price you paid to stay at this condo was less than half the rate the Cliffs complex charges for similar 1 bedroom ocean view units ($395 per night according to their website as of March 2018).

Cliff 6201 is wonderful!
