We spent 2 weeks bayside with access to parks? beach, Bellmont park and lots of food. Stayed close to family and friends too. Overall great 2 weeks.

A great place

We had a great time at this property. Its in a strip of mixed buisness/houses in a parking lot. It did not bother us at all because the location is great. It was not noisy or too busy, and we were there for July 4th. The place has everything you need in terms of household and beach stuff. Landlord is nice.

Great little budget cottage in a million dollar location.

Quaint and cozy little beach cottage just steps from the bay and a block from the beach. Within walking distance to Belmont Park and restaurants and shops as well. All a small group needs as a hub for the San Diego area. The garage was super tight for my mimi van and it barely fit. The parking on the street in front of the unit was quite a problem because it is not clearly marked and people Park their vehicles tight over the lines blocking the gates which open out to the street. That was frustrating for us trying to get out with all of their beach stuff. I was shocked at how run down that area has become and was disappointed in how San Diego is caring for their Beach and Bay. But the proximity to the bay and beach were an absolute plus for this umit.

Great family condo

The owner lives in other section of the house, so present to help/answer questions, but not obtrusive at all. Many beach items to use in the garage--boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, etc. Was great to have a garage (small, but our Kia Sedona did just fit in there!) as parking was crazy every day we were there (August). Plenty of room to sleep--we had four teen age kids--two in the double bed, one on the couch, one on the floor on a foldout mattress. Could've even slept one more in a pinch, on an air mattress that was available. Had a water hose to rinse sand off by front step. They worked around our schedule on checkout day, as our flight didn't leave until 2:30--very friendly cleaning lady. Would stay there again. Mission Beach was just a few blocks away and very nice--great beach, felt very safe (left our suits/shoes out on the little patio overnight, etc). If we returned, would do less of the tourist sites (SD Zoo, Sea World...and spend more time at the beach doing volleyball, relaxing, hitting the Mission Beach restaurants, etc.

Great property

Perfect location- 2nd house in from mission drive, had everything we needed. Listing said Queen bed, double and two futons but was actually Queen and two doubles so worked out perfect! Kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Beach house

The house was what I expected (I have spent a lot of time in S mission my sister lives about a block away) there was a bit of an ant problem and a lot of dogs barking but all in all a good trip.

Great value and location close to both the bay and the ocean. Worked well for our 1 and 2 yr old.

Marilyn was a great host, and there are plenty of beach toys and chairs for us and the kids. Located across the street from the park, so it is an active area which we enjoyed. Just a couple steps on the property, so it worked out well for the little kids.

Nice place in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. It was an easy walk to the bay or the beach and our grandkids enjoyed being next to the park. We also liked that the location was in a quieter area of Mission Beach. The Cottage was well equipped and it was great to have the beach umbrellas, chairs and towels we could use. Marilyn is a great host and sent us information ahead of time, including a list of all the items in the cottage. This made our packing for the trip much easier.

Beach Stay

We stayed for about 9 days and used this rental as the base for our San Diego vacation. We loved the close access to the beach and ease to get to all the other sights we saw. Property owner was very helpful and even provided a list of local restaurants that we found to be very good. We will stay here again and highly recommend it.

Good Location

My Family of four, had a wonderful week long vacation in June. We were able to walk to the beach and the Belmont boardwalk. Also not that far from any of the locations around San Diego by car. The rental was clean and safe. Parking only really became an issue on the weekends. But if you have a small car, you can park in the garage in the back.

ANOTHER GREAT YEAR

This house is great! This was our third year and Marilyn the owner is always very helpful and nice. The garage doors have recently been upgraded and very secure. I have no problem leaving our belongings in it. The house has everything you would need for your vacation. We love the location. It is a short walk to Belmont Park and the beach and bay are within equal distance from the front door. I highly recommend this house. You won't be disappointed. I have already reserved my stay for next year.
