Property was great and sufficiently isolated without being too far away from everything. The property manager was helpful, communicative, and very responsive. I'd definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay. Close to wineries, Watkins glenn, letchworth state park, and Montezuma wildlife refuge. Our dogs loved it too. They loved to chill on the porch while we were reading.
This was a wonderful little cabin with all the modern conveniences and opportunities to explore wine country and small town shopping. A sweet escape from city life and the ability to relax in comfort. Thank you for a lovely time away..
Somewhat remote location in the beautiful Finger Lakes offered peace and quiet. Many sites to see in the area, good restaurants, vineyards galore, and lovely old small towns. No complaints at all.
This cabin is delightful! It's cozy and the setting is so peaceful!!
I loved everything about our stay, sitting on the deck in the morning sun and watching the deer in the open field in the
evening. The fire pit was a nice added touch! James had firewood there for us and was quick to respond to all emails.
I needed a home base while my daughter was at an overnight camp in Rochester. This was perfect, allowing me to work online with no issues and enjoy the wonderful setting in the evenings to walk, enjoy the quiet and visit nearby attractions. The house had everything I needed and it was wonderful to be able to have my pup with me.
Had a wonderful time here and the dogs loved the privacy and the pond. The pullout sofa had some stuff left in it from the previous guests, but we didn't really mind. We just cleaned it up. Worth the money.

Pleasantly surprised!
The cottage was squeaky clean and seemed brand new, we were pleasantly surprised. Pictures don’t do it justice. & WiFi, bonus! Highly recommend this private cabin with plenty of room for kids and dogs to run around.
This was our second stay at the little red cabin and we will stay again if we're in the area & it's available. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The back deck is really nice; private and serene, we would have used it more if the weather was nicer during our stay. The tap water does have a strong iron smell and taste so I recommend bringing bottled water for yourself and your dog if you're bringing one. All in all, it is an enjoyable place to stay if you're looking for a small cabin with a lot of privacy.
We can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s a small rustic cabin with all the conveniences you need. We enjoyed watching the koi fish in the pond & our dog loved running all around the massive yard. Grant and Emily are there for any concerns or needs, very promptly too. We had such a great time touring the wineries and hiking many waterfall trails. We look forward to returning again next year!
VERY clean, responsive managers. I would have loved a water filtration jug in the fridge or a heads up because the water wasn’t the best tasting but otherwise great and as described.
We loved staying at this cozy little cabin. Away from it all but minutes to a wonderful dining experience at JDs Bar and Grill and the wineries surrounding Keuka Lake. We also took a road trip toward Ithaca and saw some amazing waterfalls at some of the state parks. The small town of Hammondsport also has some great dining options. We had some busy days and it was great to retire to the quiet serene cabin that was impeccably clean. We even got to see a buck walk up the dirt road one morning while enjoying our morning coffee. This was our first trip to the Finger Lakes and we can’t wait to come back!
