**WE ARE HAPPY TO SHARE THAT THE GALLERY IS NOW AGAIN AVAILABLE TO VACATIONING GUESTS (it has been a long-term rental since May 2025)!

Welcome to 'The Gallery!' One visit and we know you will agree that The Gallery is a perfect getaway for a couple's or friends' retreat. 'A destination unto itself' as one of our guests best summarizes. Park your vehicle and take a short stroll to fabulous restaurants, shopping, art galleries, museums, dance clubs, pubs, cafes, day spas, historic tours, Screen Gem Film studio tours, live theater, and other local attractions -it's all within walking distance (some destinations even on the same block as The Gallery)! Or better yet, sit back, relax, and enjoy the Trolley or the Historic Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride Tour - it's just a half-block down Market Street.

The Gallery is located at 112 Market Street in the heart of Wilmington's beautiful and nostalgic riverfront Historic District half a block from the riverfront!

'The Gallery' is a fabulous, designer decorated, two-story 'Manhattan style loft' condo. Beautiful exposed brick walls can be found in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom; all refinished hardwood floors; new contemporary Scandinavian furniture/furnishings; an expansive collection of modern art displayed in every room; and wonderful color throughout! 'Lots of style and energy' as one of our guests describes.

The second floor bedroom is beautifully decorated and has a very comfortable, queen-size bed, full-size dresser w/mirror, Sony radio/alarm clock. The luxurious living room leather sofa has a queen-size pullout. Fine linens are provided for both the queen bed and queen-size sleeper. The Gallery is very well equipped with the vacation and business traveler in mind (FREE high speed WIFI with password). See our 'amenities' section below for a full description of all that The Gallery has to offer.

Spend the day at Wrightsville Beach (just 9 miles away) or Bald Head Island and return to 'The Gallery' to explore the southern charm of historic Wilmington in the evening. And remember, everything is within walking distance if it's a late night! We will be more than happy to make some restaurant, cafe, sight-seeing, etc. recommendations, just let us know - we definitely have some favorites that we would love to introduce you to!!!

Departure Check-out List: Please hang up wet towels/washcloths on the shower curtain rod to dry before departure.
In the summer please set both thermostats to 74 degrees and in the winter to 64. The mode should always be set to “Cool” in the summer and “Heat” in winter and the Fan always on “Auto” mode.
Please also refer to our “Check-out List” in our “Welcome Binder” on the bistro table when you check-in. Thank you!

Great location, totally unique condo

The Gallery is located right in the historic district, convenient to restaurants and the river walk. We're VRBO veterans and this is by far, the most unique place we've ever stayed! The condo is located in a historic building dating back to the early 1900s. Despite the age of the building, the condo has every modern convenience. Check in was seamless and everything was provided for your comfort. We will definitely stay there again next time we're in Wilmington!

Great long term stay

I stayed at the Gallery for 5 weeks and it was perfect. Everything was clean and nice, the kitchen was just the right size. The location can’t be beat and the Peking garage is very convenient across the street. Liz was communicative and easy to contact. Would recommend!

Fun little place

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the gallery. It's super cute and is located close to everything. I never used my car! Highly recommend for a small group (3 or less) who wants to be in the middle of it all!

Gem of an Apartment in Downtown Wilmington

The apartment was exactly as described, and very clean and comfortable. The artwork was amazing and the colors were very upbeat. Kitchen was outfitted with everything needed if cooking. Lots of books and DVDs which were great for downtime after a day of sightseeing. Very walkable to restaurants and pubs, and a short drive to the beaches. Would definitely recommend!

The Gallery

Our stay was great! The bed was comfy and the apartment was very cute, a little bigger than I thought it would be. The location was amazing. The only thing is, if you are someone who likes it cool when you sleep, I would suggest bringing a fan since the cooling system can only go down to a certain temperature. The beach chairs were a huge plus and we appreciated that so much. Thank you! We would stay again.

Gallery is the perfect place for R'n R

The Gallery was the perfect place for our time away. It had all we needed and more with no need to go out. We did enjoy the sites to see all within a walk away. We were able enjoy one full day out and about but mostly loved our time in this wonderful rental. All was provided so we packed light knowing this. Thanks to Liz and hubby ! Condo is central to just about everything! The wedding venue and other guests were less than a block away. I felt safe coming home late some nights.we did not cook but well stocked if we chose to. The decor was fun and the condo is very comfortable. I was worried at first because the price was affordable. But the condo met every need. No need for a car!

The Gallery is the most wicked awesome place I've ever stayed. I just left and spent my 21st birthday weekend with some girl friends. It is the perfect location and decorated equisitely. I just love The Gallery, it is my new home away from home. You guys supplied everything and my girls and I never wanted for anything. You did an excellent job on the decor. I will definately be back at least 3 more times before the year is up. Keep up the great work.

Very well-appointed, stairs to bath

Everything we needed for a weekend stay! Kitchen is fully stocked - even with basic spices. Many bath items (in case you left something). Do be aware that you have to walk up a flight of stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. We went at a fairly quiet time of year, and the condo windows face an alley, but if the city noise bothers you, bring a noise machine or fan. Great location in the historic district, we didn’t use the car at all.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with historic, riverfront Wilmington and were spending so many weekends there that we decided to find a place of our own. The beauty and nostalgia of the area combined with the friendliness of the locals is what drew us and continues to draw us to Wilmington. Location was paramount in our search for our vacation spot in Wilmington. We wanted to be able to walk to everything and we finally found a condo that met that important criteria. It took some time to renovate, but was well worth it to be in the heart of historic Wilmington.
