You'll find it difficult to equal the ambience and location of this Wexler-designed two bedroom, two bath, single-story condominium in the low-density Rose Garden complex in central Palm Springs. The unique shopping, nightlife, and energy of downtown Palm Springs await one mile away, and the spa/casino is four blocks away. The airport is ten minutes away.
Because it shares only one common wall with the residence next door and has private areas in the front and back, the unit feels more like a single family home and provides a sense of privacy. The living room and both master suites lead to a secluded patio that provides beautiful mountain views. The fully stocked kitchen has its own separate, private patio at the front of the unit. The lushly landscaped, immaculately maintained complex offers two salt-water pools, three hot tubs, and two tennis courts. The pool and two of the hot tubs are steps from our home. Most of the units in the complex are owner-occupied, lending to a secure, quiet environment.

We could not have been happier with our experience of having Norm rent our home. He communicated with us often to keep us up to date while staying there. Great stay in Palm springs

This place has everything. The house was great and was fully equipped with everything you would need. Location amazing and the community itself is picture perfect with great pools tennis courts and hot tubs. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Love PS and the Rose Garden

The unit is well outfitted, very comfortable and nicely located. The north and south facing patios offer choices of shade and sun. The bathroom off the west bedroom is well laid out for handicapped people with a high-mount water closet, easy access shower and grab-bars. The kitchen entrance off the single car garage is great for bringing in groceries and the fold-out sofa-bed in the living room is surprisingly comfortable, I tested it myself. We have found the owners to be most accommodating and cordial people.

A little bit of paradise

What a lovely and serene home! It was very clean, had easy keyless access and all the amenities I needed. The very large condo is set in a beautiful peaceful community. It is surrounded by great mountain views and lots of palm trees, making my time at the salt water pool and jacuzzi very enjoyable. The home is very private, with the enclosed front patio surrounded by a picturesque bougainvillea and cacti. Being centrally located in Palm Springs, I had an easy walk to the downtown “strip”, library, grocery store, cafes and Farmer’s Market. The kind host, John, was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to my messages. It was a treat to stay in such a lovely home in a beautiful community! My month in paradise.

June In The Desert

Just got home after spending the month of June at "Rose Garden", a complex designed by mid-century architect Donald Wexler. The condo with 2/2 was more than comfortable and was appointed almost better than my own house. Whilst there the temp went to 123 degrees, but inside was cool and comfortable. Spent time at the pool and hot tub which were just a short walk away. I've already talked to the owner about leasing again ... Palm Springs is COOL!

Summer in Palm Springs

Hi, I had the pleasure of spending my summer in Palm Springs at this beautiful condo and enjoyed it a lot for all the convenients, the pool was great to cool down morning and evening, enjoyed the street fair every Thursday evening and the Museum, the condo was most comfortable and the owners were very nice had the pleasure of meeting them..go for it even if it is over 100 and hot, the breeze keeps you cool..loved it..

summer in Palm Springs

Had a greatime in the summer for two months though it was over 100 degree hot, the condo was cool and the pool was great..to cool down, I enjoyed the Street Fair every Thursday..evening and the musuem adn too up the Tramway was always pleasant and cool..the owners of the condo, who I had the pleasure of meeting were very couple, who always called to see if all was well..the location is great, could walk to down town in the winter..go for it even in the summer it is surprisingly pleasant..thanks.

Best accommodation in Palm Springs

We are old hands at visiting Palm Springs and have stayed in many locations in that wonderful community over the past 15 years. Without a doubt, this Rose Garden property is everything the literature describes and is the best we have ever experienced there. Outstanding!

Our stay at The Rose Garden Condo was great. The owner was extremely accomodating and responded to our every question immediately. The neighborhood is delightful, very quiet and the location was perfect for us. We are big walkers and hikers... the location was perfect for both. Just one mile into the Village with wonderful shopping and places to eat and drink or walk beyond Palm Canyon Drive through the vintage neighborhoods and hike the hills without ever getting in your car. The desert flowers put on quite a show in March! Close to golf and tennis, as well. The interior of the condo is pleasing and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this property.

We are, sadly, part-timers in Palm Springs and reside in the Chicago area. This is our intended retirement home.

Why they chose this property

The unit itself is a single story sharing only 1 common wall, so you never here sounds from our neighbor next door. A view of the mountain awaits as you step out the back and front doors. We love the energy and style of Palm Springs itself, as opposed to being in a "down valley" city that would require a car to get anywhere. Walking and/or biking into the downtown area, 1 mile away, is more than convenient. The airport is a 5 minute drive away. The complex is very safe, quiet and well-maintained.

What makes this property unique

The pool, tennis courts and hot tub are, literally, steps outside of the unit. As this is a low-density complex, none of those amenities are ever "crowded". There is a commercial area with restaurants, a grocery store and various retail within 2 blocks of the complex.
