Open the French doors to a modern kitchen and sunlit living/great room. Living room has a flat screen TV, and wireless Internet throughout, making this home a complete retreat. Dine or entertain on the 300 sf tile patio with a formal dining table, stucco bench seating, surrounded by 5ft walls and lush greenery. An outdoor fire table, lounge area and water fountain make the nights magical. A trumpet vine-lined pathway takes you to a second patio with a built in jacuzzi and olive trees. This place is perfect for family vacations or a romantic getaway. Sorry, no animals allowed due to allergy restrictions.

Great stay in La Jolla

This is a lovely house in a super neighborhood on the southern end of La Jolla. There is close proximity to coffee and food. The house was very functional for our five person family. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

Our family really enjoyed the walkable neighborhood with restaurants, coffee, and a CVS nearby. The beach is also just a short distance away. The house is well maintained and spacious with everything that you need for a vacation! We would gladly return in the future to this same location.

Charming & calm

Kimber was terrific to work with throughout—thanks! The house is very charming and the master bedroom in particular is expansive and unique. We loved having the two patio areas for sunsets and/or a late-night fire, and the house is walking distance to several coffee shops, wine bars, and restaurants. A great stay!

Perfect rental in Bird Rock

Kimber’s home was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for a better location. I got up every morning and walked to Bird Rock Coffee and then over the beach. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The view from the patio was amazing as well. Kimber supplied everything we needed for the stay and more. There was no shortage of linens and the wine upon arrival was a perfect touch. We will definitely stay here again!

Felt like staying at a friend’s (with great taste!)

Our family was very comfortable in this unique La Jolla home in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed the two patios on the property during the day and walking the few blocks to the ocean and to local restaurants and coffee shops. If you are looking for cookie cutter hotel like accommodations this is not for you but if you want to feel like you are lucky enough to have friends with a place to share just outside San Diego this is ideal. The master suite and bath is especially nice, and the option for a wood fire in the living room was a treat. Hosts were great - accommodating and very accessible for questions.

Incredibly charming home in a great neighborhood

We loved staying at Kimber's home. We came to get some sun and spent a great deal of time in the beautiful front courtyard. We walked everywhere, down to the beach, to the coffee shop and the bakery, and we rode around on the two bikes provided. The house was perfect for the two of us, with both of us working in separate spaces during the day. Kimber was very quick to respond to our questions, the whole process was very easy. We will definitely be back.

Lovely home for our girls' weekend

Kimber was VERY responsive and helpful and the home had a fully stocked kitchen (including coffee and a bottle of wine), clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of bath and beach towels, fruit trees out front, yoga mats on the upstairs deck (we did yoga most mornings), and a great location for getting to La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Downtown - nothing was all that far away. One heads up that while it does sleep 5, both bathrooms are in bedrooms, so you need to walk into someone's room to use it. Wasn't an issue for us (former roommates), but good to be aware of going in. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the house.

Like coming home to La Jolla!

Had a small family reunion in this lovely home and felt like it was a major part of our celebration! Kimber was both gracious and accommodating and the house reflected this. Warm and welcoming, everything was clean and cozy. House is in a charming area and convenient to airport, beaches, towns and tourist spots. Highly recommend to small families and first time visitors to area. Lack of bannisters can be an issue and (beds) a bit small for couples, but overall as pretty and sweet as photos. Would definitely go again!

Delightful stay at this charming home.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Everything about the place was charming. It is a beautiful and clean home in a great setting. It was a great "home base" from which to set out on our various adventures--whether hiking, the San Diego Zoo, botanical gardens, etc. Because we were vacationing in winter, we didn't access all that a summer visitor could.
