Cute, cozy cottage getaway

Cute, cozy, and cheery...this little ranch house is on a quiet street in the quaint fishing village of Wenona, a small community on the southern tip of Deal Island. Crabbing and oystering are a way of life on the island. It makes for a peaceful vacation retreat. Even though water view is from just one window in the house, what this does mean is that you are very close to water...just minutes from a public boat ramp! This little house lives large and pleasant with its newly remodeled kitchen offering plenty of counter space, lots of big windows and bright light, and fresh paint throughout. We have so enjoyed this home and hope you will too with your next visit to Deal Island.

This was the perfect little getaway stay! The home was super clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and the check in/lock box was easy to use. We loved this little house on the peaceful island. The house was very clean, with comfortable furniture and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The island scenery was so beautiful and relaxing. We made day trips to Raccoon Point and Chincoteague for some beach time. The house stayed cool despite a major heat wave, so it was the perfect place to unwind after a summer day out. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet and cozy

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. The skipjacks were showing up for the races when we were there and the small beach was a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Got to see the sika deer the first night there and it was overall a very comfortable place to stay.

The property was clean but very secluded. It worked for us as we had a short stay. There is no wifi and the closest place to get quality meals is in Princess Ann about 20 miles away; but the kitchen facilities were adequate so you could bring food to cook.

Peace and quiet

This is an excellent property in an excellent location. The house is immaculate. Such a cute house and loaded with everything you would need for a short or long visit. There’s plenty of yard and a quiet street for walking your fur babies. My GSD loved the 12 geese that visited daily and the deers, too.
