This place is as chill as advertised! So relaxing and peaceful! This was the perfect place for our 2nd anniversary after such a hectic beginning of the year. So easy to get out and explore or just spend an entire day tucked away from every one!! My wife and I are getting a dart board on the way home!
We had a great stay! Cabin was close to everything we wanted to do in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Had a little difficulty checking in but the owner got it resolved quickly. The house was very homey, nothing fancy but had all we needed. Could use a Wi-Fi booster (especially in the game room as the tv didn’t work well) but the pool table was a big hit. Would stay again.
The cabin is nice and as listed. However, due to an unexpected snowstorm and ice we have been unable to access the cabin for 3 days of our vacation, no electricity, and unable to collect our belongings. The owner has been in contact as far as answering our questions and offered an extra day. However, we still are unable to get to the cabin for our belongings and are seeking alternate locations to stay until the roads are clear. Likely will never use this service again. I feel the access roads should be included in the description of the cabin.

I apologize Denise for the inconvenience. I do understand the frustration of planning a Christmas trip in the mountains and not being able to enjoy as expected. This situation however was completely out of my control and was an issue most cabin owners had. Our roads getting up to the cabin are well paved and are among the better in the area. However, the extent of the storm did attribute to power outages and trees being down ALL OVER Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. I do not believe I was misleading in anyway and did try to my best ability to rectify the situation. Again my sincerest apologies that you did not enjoy the Smokies as planned
This property was awesome. It had something for our whole family from ages 4 to 65. There is plenty of space and everything you need for a vacation. The cabin was very welcoming.
The location was perfect, short drives to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The home was in good condition, very roomy with a cabin feel. It was so peaceful sitting outside looking at the forest and hearing the birds every morning. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the Smoky Mountains!!!!
Booking was easy. Property owner/manager was very good to work with. We had a booking issue arise and they worked very hard to make us happy and they did a great job 😀 The house was exactly like the pictures. Everyone loved the detached game room !!!! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and get ready . They loved the swing out front . Just far enough from gatlynburg and pigeon forge to feel like your in the mountains but close enough to get to either place . We would definitely recommend this house and would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area in the future. Thank you to the owners and the managers and the housekeeping staff for a great place to stay !!!!!
This place was great for a family of 9 with 2 small children and 3 teenagers and 4 adults. Had everything to cook with also. Great game room that isn't attached to the main house. With was great for the kids. Will stay here again in the future.
Thank you for allowing us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary at our honeymoon location. Our family of seven highly enjoyed the house game room and hot tub. Great location to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge Plus the privacy.
Really appreciated the owners sharing their home with us.
They responded in a timely manner to any questions that were asked.
The kids, young and old, loved the game room.
The roads are very easy to navigate and get to this property with a Honda Accord, we had no issues whatsoever. There is a swing next to the deck that wraps from sliding glass doors at dining room around to front entrance. My grandbabies spent most of their time playing on this swing! The entire house and gameroom next door was the cleanest I have ever experienced with VRBO and similar and I've been using them for years. The kitchen has bare basics but you can get by. It is best to assume there are no consumeable products in the kitchen when planning your trip--no edible items. The fridge looks brand new.
The lowest level has a huge common hangout area and wash/dry machine. The bunkbeds for the kiddies are around the corner from this room, and has a full bath . The main level has the master bedroom with kingsize bed and deck outside, with hot tub just steps away. The master bath is shared with main level of house, not ensuite. Upstairs has two additional bedrooms with queen beds and a shared bath. The gameroom is large and located in the other building where you park. The wi-fi and smart tvs were all working great. A/C is cold.
The house is great, and I would recommend anyone looking for a quiet place to stay that is very close to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge to give this rental a try. You definitely won't find a cleaner unit!
We traveled to Gatlinburg for my sons destination wedding. The trip got off to a little rough start due to bad weather days before our planned stay but the owner of the cabin was great in getting us in the cabin a day later than anticipated due to no fault of hers. We had to get a hotel room the first night but she graciously refunded us for the night we were not able to stay in the cabin. We stayed from Monday to Sunday and we had a great time visiting with family and spending time together. We would definitely book this property again without hesitation.

Thank you Lanie. I appreciate your review and I am happy you were able to enjoy your stay. You are welcome anytime .
We had a group of 6 adults and 2 kids come down for a birthday and baseball weekend. The property offered us a ton of space and was in a convenient location to pigeon forge and gatlinburg. We were all comfortable in the property and enjoyed our time there and the surrounding areas. The separate game room was an added bonus. Great time relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The whole experience was better than we had expected. The place was so cozy and comfy. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room. The rooms were all comfy and cozy. It felt great to relax and have a good time. Wide parking out front for multiple cars. The fire pit was fun. We just hung out and roasted marshmallows and told ghost stories. The game room was the best. Billiards and an old school arcade. We had a lot of fun. It’s an easy drive from town and an easy route to Gatlinberg. Lots to see from small local venues to the touristy stuff. Great location and great venue. The amenities were all wonderful. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything.
In these crazy times of COVID-19, we were going stir crazy. We needed to get away yet still be mindful of limiting our exposure. This week was my wife's birthday, so we decided to head out to the Smoky Mountains.
True, the area has much to offer as far as entertainment goes; however, we knew we wouldn't be enjoying much of it. We sought a place where we could "shelter in a different place" and still feel like we were on vacation... enter this cabin.
The place is clean, cozy, and inviting. The owners clearly built a second home where they can get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy time as a family.
Smart TVs are located in every bedroom, but not the living/dining room. Those are places to enjoy good conversation. The kitchen is small but well equipped with pretty much everything you would need (including a few surprises like a waffle maker, a slow cooker, etc., which you don't normally find in rental properties).
The hot tub provides soothing relaxation after a good hike (if you're into it; otherwise, relax anyway!). There's a fire pit, and a charcoal grill (similar to the ones you find at some parks).
...and then there's the game room. Wow. Someone really thought of having a place to have fun! A pool table, dart board, retro video arcade machine, a table for playing board games, two big comfy couches, a big screen smart TV, Blu-ray player, and even a LaserDisc player and movies (just seeing the expression on your kids' face when you show them a LaserDisc is priceless, trust me!). They also have a projector and screen but those are not for use by renters (understandable).
Having all TV's be smart TV's (Roku) allows you to log in to your Netflix / Hulu / Prime / Disney+ accounts without having to bring anything (just remember to sign out of your account when you leave).
The owner was very accessible and quick to respond to any inquiry.
If we head back to this area, my search will be simple: I don't need to look for a place to rent... only to check if this one is available. :)
This was a great location for our multi-family getaway. The game room, hot tub, fire pit, tree swing, and mountain views meant there was something for everyone! The owner was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely return!
The house was perfect for our vacation. There were two couples and one teenager. We could have easily had another couple and another teenager in the house and still had space. Also, the game room was a huge bonus area. The layout allowed us to feel like we had our own areas when we needed quiet time. The driveway is flat and very large. We had two trucks and two motorcycle trailers in the driveway and had plenty of room to get by with the bikes. The road to the house was only steep on the last hill, but still very easy to navigate. There was everything we needed in the kitchen to cook full meals and a charcoal grill outside that we used several times. The property owner was very responsive throughout the entire process and any questions were answered immediately. We will definitely look to rebook this property when returning to Gatlinburg.
