About this property

Hood Canal Waterfront Home - Incredible Views, Wildlife, EV Charger, Kayaks!

Awesome waterfront vacation home on Hood Canal at Lilliwaup Bay! Incredible 180-degree views of the Canal from nearly every room in the home. Level 2 EV charger. Great Kayaking right from the private beach (five kayaks and two rowboats and life vests for complementary use by guests). Nearly 100’ of private low-bank waterfront and tidelands. Oysters and clam digging are nearby (subject to WDFW regulations). The bay is home to Bald Eagles, numerous species of waterfowl, Blue Heron, King Fishers, migratory and resident salmon ( King, Silver, Chum), seals, sea lions, otters, and occasionally Orcas.

The relaxing home is situated on a huge lot away from highway 101 giving it uncommon privacy and quiet compared to other Canal properties. A large deck which overlooks the water is equipped with a gas barbecue. Additionally, located feet from the water is a fire pit for campfires and/or barbecuing.

Built in 2008, the home has modern amenities such as Level 2 EV charger, granite countertops, stone gas fireplace, 50” and two 43” HD smart TVs (Netflix and Amazon Prime Video) with Blue Ray DVD player, high speed internet, stereo system, and a modern fully equipped kitchen. The home is a custom-built home and while it has all the modern conveniences it also has a charming rustic feel to it. Great views from nearly every room including the upstairs loft master bedroom.
By master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. Additionally, the living room has a queen sleeper sofa, and a portable twin XL is available as well.

I am a retired lifelong Northwesterner. I love the great outdoors and many associated activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking, wildlife, golf, skiing, Seattle Mariners, live music.

Why they chose this property

I bought the lot in 2007 and built the house in 2008. I was lucky to find this great location and chose it for its amazing views, beach and fishing/boating opportunities! I love the fact that the property is not right on highway 101 (unlike most other waterfront homes on the Canal) which provides for peace and quiet. I have since discovered it is a bird watchers dream (Bald Eagles, Killdeer, NUMEROUS waterfowl, Kingfishers, Blue Heron, etc.....).
