We had a fantastic girls weekend at the Bunkhouse. It was wonderfully comfortable with plenty of space inside and out. We lounged in the sun on deck chairs and the hammock, surrounded by the beauty of the property. We lit a fire in the outdoor firepit and drank Anderson Valley Pinot's under the stars. We organzied for a masage therapist to come in one day and five of us got treatements. The beds were cozy, the bathroom large and luxurious and the kitchen well stocked and functional - excellent for making breakfasts and evening meals. In short, it was a perfect weekend.

Comfortable and charming bunkhouse in a beautiful setting
Our family of five (with 3 grown children) had a lovely time at the Bunkhouse. It's adorable and super comfortable. Hiking/biking trails are right there with beautiful views.

About the host
Hosted by Kendra McEwen
After visiting the Valley for years, Jon and Karin were married in Philo and have loved the Valley's simple, down-to-earth beauty since their first visit.
Why they chose this property
As a weekend getaway, the Valley never fails to provide relaxation and the feeling of having truly left the hustle and bustle of daily life, returning freshly renewed.
What makes this property unique
Access to the charming and eccentric town of Boonville. Great dinner out at the Boonville Hotel and lots of wonderful local events that support the farming community. A small but much cherished farmers market on Friday evenings and the drive into the Valley itself, especially on 128.
