Year Round Fun and Solitude too

Unplug and enjoy coffee on the deck, grill below and take the canoe for a spin. 1200 foot home with 2 bedrooms, reading room, large living room with stone fireplace (non operational) and open kitchen/living room floor plan. Walk out on the lower level to a grill and dining area then walk down to the dock and grab the canoe for a ride down the river into Ann Lake. Close to quaint Lake Ann with a general store, restaurant, coffee shop and brew pub. Easy ride to Traverse City, Beulah or Empire and the beaches. There is NO cable or internet. There is a TV and DVD and movies. Grocery nearby rents them. Use your phone as a hotspot for internet. Winter sports also abound. Ski hill 30 minutes away. Snow shoe, cross country ski on state land nearby.

Short drive to Traverse City, Beulah or Empire and the beaches. Multiple small lakes around so bring your boat.

Cottage on the River
Fairly comfortable cottage with 3 bedrooms and one bath. Fireplace isn’t working and neither was the ice maker. It was quiet and peaceful. We thought it was going to be on Lake Ann but it is on the river. It was a good location for exploring the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The house and location was perfect for our adventures in the area. The description for the house is accurate. It is even better in person.. We would definitely rent again if we return to the area.

Why they chose this property

Beautiful peaceful location, close to many things to see and do. We love the property because it is on the river and very quiet. We can take our boat up the river and be in Lake Ann a 622 acre all sports lake. It is a very quiet lake and has good fishing for bass and other pan fish.

What makes this property unique

Hiking trails on state land nearby. Town is quaint and has a brew pub, coffee shop and a couple of restaurants. Close to many attractions including sleeping bear dunes, Traverse City, Frankfurt, Interlochen and Empire.
