Great stay. Fished, swam, played pool, had bon fire, hiked property, biked state park 1 mile away and enjoyed Dickson which is a great small town. Thanks
We really enjoyed our stay! Paula was very quick to reply with any questions we had. The property itself is beautiful. It’s a perfect place for a multi family getaway. We will for sure be back!

Thank you so much, Tre! Loved having your group of golfers!
This is a great place to stay for a private gathering. Hosted our child’s wedding rehearsal dinner at the Barn venue on property, and it was so convenient to be able to have our whole family staying at the Lodge. Watching the the mist rise from the water in the early morning just makes this a special place.

Thank you so much! We loved having you and your family! Your rehearsal dinner at our Clubhouse was fabulous!
My groomsmen and I absolutely loved the lodge. We were able to convene there after the rehearsal dinner also on the property, hang out, make last minute preparations, and relax and sleep well. The ponds are beautiful and the vibe was perfect. Thank you!
This cabin easily sleeps 8-10 people and is nestled in a nature lover's paradise. 3 beautiful ponds with walking trails, a great fire pit setup to enjoy the evenings, and huge game room allowed our family of 8 to enjoy this gem. Paula was an absolute joy to work with & was always responsive to our questions/needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Matt, you and your family were an absolute delight! Loved having you and please come back soon!
The property is beautiful! Fall foliage, gentle breezes blowing across the lake, and a bubbling creek at the end of the property. Super relaxing time when were not engaged in competitive rummy or pool tournaments.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We loved having you and your family! Please come back again and again!
Beautiful, peaceful location. Enjoyed fishing (caught bass, crappy, and blue gill) and bird watching including Osprey, Heron, and King Fisher. The home was well stocked with everything you need. I appreciate supplies such as laundry detergent, shampoo, soaps, toilet paper and not needing to run to the store to pick up all of these things. I appreciated the iron, including spray starch, and small ironing board but might suggest a full size board given the likelihood that you're attending an event - dresses, suits, etc but that wasn't a big deal. Beds were comfy, slept well, and water views from all around the house. Host was always very responsive. Highly recommend. You'll love it!!
This long weekend was perfect for the special occasion of my son and his fiancé. We had a celebration dinner at the barn on the property while we stayed the weekend at the lodge. The wedding was at a close by venue, Cajun Lake Lodge allowed our family to hang out and stay together on a busy weekend. We will be back for a more relaxing visit. It is beautiful with so much fun family activities to offer. Paula and her family could not have been more accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Thank you, Tonya! Loved having you and your family!
My son got married at Cactus Creek Barn. The lodge was very convenient to the venue and a great place to relax with family before and after the wedding. My sister’s family and my family shared the lodge. My nephews enjoyed watching football in the media room. Lots of pool was played. I enjoyed long walks. My husband loved fishing in the morning. Thanks for being such a gracious host Paula.
We rented the Lodge for our family to stay in during a wedding weekend and also used the property for a rehearsal dinner. It was simply magical. The dinner was held outside under the trees overlooking the lake and it was gorgeous. Our guests lingered long after dinner and enjoying the atmosphere, the beautiful fall weather and the company. Paula was more than accommodating and helped me plan my dinner and make decisions about how to best pull it off. She was the ultimate hostess. I would recommend it for anyone that wants to have a beautiful gathering place for events!

Thank you, Sharia for your kind words and for coming to Cajun Lake Lodge to celebrate such a wonderful time in the lives of you and your family! We love working with other local wedding venues to host their guests both for overnight stays and for rehearsal dinners or after-the-wedding brunches. The weather certainly contributed to your beautiful rehearsal dinner under the trees, but your table decor was the best! Hope that you will all come back sometime in the future!
Paula was very responsive and was Kim enough to work with us with our last minute requests. The lower rating is only due to the cleanliness of the property. Mold in the bathrooms and cobwebs. Carpets gave off a musty smell. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you, Sandra, for your comments. We have such high standards for cleanliness that we, the owners, clean the property ourselves! This is the first time anyone has ever said anything to us about a cleaning issue; we will remedy this immediately. There is only carpet in one bedroom, so I am assuming that is where you found an issue. Please be assured that the next time you come here, all will be solved and sparkling!

Great for relaxing and fishing
We had a group of 8, 4 being children, Pool table was great to have. Video game was not working. Plenty of room outside too, boys loved to fish in the ponds. Personally I would not swim in the large pond as there was a lot of green muck. I think may be "south thing". Downstairs was a nice area for someone to needed to escape or workout. Air conditioners were nice and cold, perfect being we stayed in the heart of the summer. Being it was an old farmhouse, the kitchen was small for a large group of people. TV'S downstairs but none in bedrooms upstairs. Large screen in theatre room was tough to navigate. Couldn't get DVDs to play. 45 minutes from Downtown Nashville. Overall nice experience, we all enjoyed our stay. Paula was very helpful.

Thank you so much for your review! We loved having you! In the heat of the summer, we "fight" the algae in our ponds; we even stock the lakes with talapia every year, who love to eat the algae. We can then fish for them in the fall, which is great fun! When you were here, the algae had been treated and was dying but was still at the surface....all lakes are crystal clear now! Our eagles help us fish them out! And the video game has been repaired and is waiting for you to come back. We appreciate the "heads up" on the large screen TV; we now have a new set of instructions. Until next time.....
Perfect getaway for my daughter’s wedding.
Far enough in the country to feel secluded, but close enough to town to have DoorDash deliver food, if needed.
With me having adult children and their significant others, it was fun to have the pool table to build community around in our downtime between wedding commitments.
Paula, the venue owner, is outstanding! Top notch woman. She was on the ball, gracious, and gave the right balance of being hands on/off. I will definitely recommend Cajun Lake Lodge for your stay. It’s quiet and serene, but it offers much indoors as well – pool table, darts, games, even books to read. I liked that there was a game room and a TV room - so people who wanted to do one thing could do their thing, while the others did theirs. My only downside is that it we didn’t stay longer.
Terrific place. The pool table room was a great place to enjoy a beautiful location.
Excellent!
