Sneak inside to the rumpus room and watch your favorite movie with drinks from the quirky bar, prepare a feast for your family and friends in the retro 70's kitchen while your group snuggle by the roaring fire in the sunken lounge.
The Gully Retreat offers comfortable space for guests with provided linen and towels.
The retro kitchen comes with all the trimmings, oven, stove, microwave, side by side fridge, and dishwasher with wares, utensils, crockery and cutlery to boot!
And for the lovers of a finely brewed coffee the Delonghi fully automated coffee machine will be the only companion you need in the wee hours of the morning.
The Gully Retreat is heavily insulated however for those scorching hot days while you're not at the beach or dipping in the pool there is a ducted and refrigerated heating and cooling throughout the house and for those cold winters the giant fire can warm your bones!
The Gully Retreat is close proximity to Arthur's Seat State Park, Rosebud Park Public Golf Course & the Peninsula Hot Springs and Rosebud Plaza along with the glorious beach are only a short drive away.
Please advise configuration (couples/singles) when booking so appropriate bedding arrangements can be prepared.
The Gully Retreat is perfect for corporate events, working groups, rehearsals and off sites - the large dining table is the perfect size for workshops with wifi available for all of your online needs.
The Retreat offers 3 large rooms for group work, casual conversations can be held in the games room, the informal dining room is great to workshop ideas and the formal dining and sunken lounge are easily transformed for larger meetings and brainstorming sessions.
*LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED INCLUSIVE OF BOOKING FOR INSIDE USE. PLEASE BRING POOL & BEACH TOWELS WITH YOU (WEATHER PERMITTING).
Arrival & Departure
3:00 pm arrival 10:00 am departure strict.
Guests can access the entire property except the garage, linen & cleaning closets. There is ample parking in the long driveway for up to 4 cars (No trailers or Jetski's). Please use offstreet parking if number of vehicles exceeds limit . Please keep gateway clear at all times.
We expect the house to be left as found when first arriving.
Please note that on departure we ask our guests to clean the property, put all rubbish in the bins provided. We provide a 3 hour departure clean as part of the cleaning fee. Where more than 3 hours cleaning is required guests will be charged the extra hours required. The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
* Ensure recycling and general waste is separted accoridngly. Additional $200 charge will apply if we have to sort and separate the rubbish.
* We provide ample bin space. Any additional rubbish is expected to be taken away. Additional Fee from $150 will apply for removal and tip fees.
The Gully Retreat has a permanent Total Fire Ban. Solid fuels (such as charcoal BBQ's or Braziers) are not allowed. A gas BBQ is provided for your convenience.
Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is strictly 10:00am, to allow time for the housekeeping staff to prepare the property for next guests.
The quote provided will be based on the number of people you advise on. If you have additional guests please let us know to avoid breaking the terms and conditions of your stay. If extra guests are found at the property (CCTV at entry points of the property are monitored), or numbers do not match the booking, there will be a $300 charge deducted from security held for each undeclared and unauthorised person per day and we will render you liable for immediate termination of the booking. No refund will be given.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. You agree to inform us immediately of any damages relating to the property and/or its contents.
No smoking is permitted inside and all butts have to be picked up outside prior to your departure. You will be charged extra from your bond if we have to pick up smoke butts from the external areas. There is no smoking allowed in the house at all.
A quiet period must be maintained 10:00pm Sun-Thu and 11pm Fri-Sat. Excessive noise will render you liable for immediate termination of the booking. No refund will be given.
Any damage to the property or the contents will be charged to the client.
We understand that accidents happen but please treat the property with respect and everyone will have a good time!
The Gully Retreat does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of the tenant's personal property.
Pool heating will be activated from December to end of March and/or once the ambient temperature is above 20 degrees, a fee per booking apples if pool heating is requested in colder periods (Please request fee to be added to booking ). Pool system fully automated (2 x daily cycles). Pool heating must be activated by guest on arrival and no other operation required (do not turn any valves).
* Additional $200 for Heater activation outside Dec-Mar applies.
The Gully Retreat is a perfect place of relaxation for families and mature adults and is not suitable for Schoolies, parties or events.
