About this property

Poolside Retreat 100 steps to the OCEAN Pet Friendly NO SMOKING

This is an ideal getaway for a couple or single person. 100Ft from the Atlantic ocean and 8Ft from the pool. This is the ground floor unit of a 3 story private home. Owners occupy top floors . Our goal is to provide you with quiet and relaxing vacation. We strive to respect your privacy while being close enough to attend to any of your needs. There may be a chance you will be sharing the pool area with other guest or the owners.
You will most likely be greeted by our Border Collie Jax. Just pick up a frisbee and he will be your best friend!

2 Bicycles are for your use
PETS WILL BE CONSIDERED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. Please call or email me to discuss your fur baby. PETS MUST BE APPROVED before stay.
We are a NO SMOKING property. This includes around the pool or anywhere on the property.

Although common areas are shared with the owners & their guests, we ask that guests respect each other’s space in the backyard & pool area when commonly using it. All guests will have full access to shared pool, lounge area and yard. We do strive to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere. There will be times when you may have these areas completely to yourselves.

Owners reside on property with our Border Collie, Jax.
We have a large fenced yard for Jax and his new friends to play.

Because of security and insurance reasons we can only have registered guests on the property.

Wonderful beach retreat

The owners are very nice (and their dogs are too). The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The process was very easy and the location is wonderful! Will definitely look to stay here again when we come visit next time

Jen, Bill, and Jax made us feel very welcomed from the start and were very accommodating! The pool area was beautiful, quiet, and very relaxing. The beach was just a short walk across A1A with very few people! Overall a very nice vacation.

This will be our get away stay from now on. Jax the dog was so much fun. Jen and Bill are awesome. The yard made you fill like you were in Hawaii. Very private and just across A1A a private entrance to the beach. Publix is just a few miles south of property. Can't wait to bring our friends. Bring P&B doggie treats for Jax, they are his favorite. And maybe you'll get to meet Layla his little cousin, a black/white Border collie who is so sweet.

Anniversary Getaway

We chose this location for the relaxing pool, outdoor area and close proximity to beach. It didn’t disappoint. We found ourselves relaxing poolside, on the porch then in the evening enjoying the fire pit. You must be a dog lover, as the owners do have a friendly border collie named Jax. Can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful location and very gracious hosts

Everything was great, the only thing that was an issue was it was a little warm inside the rental. No thermostat in the bungalow and we ended up sweating away in the night. But a beautiful home and very friendly hone owners.

Due to the tropical storm that was upon us during your 2 day stay, I agree, It was rather humid. Only so much you can do with that unfortunately. Great Location Just Steps from the Beach

This is a nice property. It made a great base for exploring the Melbourne area. We were also able to bring our dog which was a plus. There was plenty of outdoor seating area around the pool. The beach was quiet and private. Fortunately, the property is not located in the very busy commercial/condo area. It is located in a nice upscale neighborhood. The owners were very responsive to our needs.

What an incredible experience! This retreat is truly a five star gem. The pool area, nestled amidst lush tropical landscaping, exudes a luxurious resort-like atmosphere. The ground floor unit was impeccably clean with top notch linens and a cozy queen bed. Communication with the owners was outstanding ; they were simply fantastic people who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Great location for enjoying the beach and wildlife in area

The host was wonderful about suggesting restaurants to try and things to do. You can walk to beach easily where we observed a hatching sea turtle going to ocean, 2 sea turtles in evening going to lay eggs. Short drive to Sebastian Inlet State Park where we saw manatees, huge rays, sea turtles swimming in ocean, lots of birds and enjoyed swimming. Short drive to Pelican Island Wildlife Refuge where we saw lots of birds. Close to grocery store. Wonderful bike/walking paved path right outside the door. The pool was fantastic with a great covered area with comfy furniture to hang out. It was like our own tropical retreat!

Quick getaway

Jen was the best hostess we’ve ever had in the many vrbo rentals we’ve enjoyed. We couldn’t get enough of the layout of their beautiful back yard. Jax was a wonderfully sweet fur baby we enjoyed playing with, and my husband enjoyed some great conversations with Billy. We were very cozy in our private home away from home, and everything needed was there for us to enjoy. There really is no better place across the street from the ocean than their home. I’m a convert…I used to always to stay oceanfront. No more. The quiet, quaint feel of their home will make you wish it was yours. Cheers!
