The pool was not open, and we did not have any pets. There are signs of pet hair on the carpet. It was not a major issue, but just an FYI. The stay was wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay in Neuse Village. It’s an ultra quiet area that is back off the main road. The house was clean and well stocked. The views of the river are amazing. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful river home. Hope to come back soon.
If you want to take a break from it all, this is a great place to go. It was quiet and peaceful - the views are gorgeous!

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and kind words Jennifer. We love our little slice of heaven here in Oriental. I am so happy you experienced the "get away" you were looking for! I hope to see you again soon !
The location is so quiet and relaxing and the view & sunrise each morning was breathtaking. Also, you must try Rick’s BBQ in Oriental, NC it was delicious, a great little town.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An amazing view and the accommodations perfectly matched the listening. Checkin was a breeze, and because we arrived a tad earlier than expected we were still allowed access to the home. We will definitely look at coming back!
Beautiful location. Great accommodations. Kitchen was outfitted very well. A cooks kitchen; just what we like.

Picture perfect waterfront setting and views. Comfortable decorator furnishings and special touches. Great usable floor plan, simply immaculate, with a very organized and well stocked kitchen. The great room and kitchen make it easy to socialize in a relaxed location. Property management provides excellent guest communication, demonstrates care and attention to detail, are readily available, efficient check-in/check -out, with small town hospitality. Thank-you for a lovely stay.
All 8 of these buildings are identical and just a great place to get outside of town with fantastic views of the water. The reverse floorplan worked great for us. The home is in great shape and well maintained. Easy fishing off the dock.

We really enjoyed our stay at Neuse Village; it's a little pocket of peace on the side of the river. We found that the river was a bit too active for us to enjoy kayaking much, but the kids spent a lot of time either wading in the river or swimming in the pool. The house was beautiful, and we really liked the facility. We had one problem with the A/C that we reported on day 2, the team was very quick to respond and got the situation sorted out in record time. Great experience in a great location!

The property was perfect. We enjoyed ourselves so much. We took our daughter to North Carolina to attend the Marine Ball. I had to work all week, but the views made it so much better. Most of the time we get a rental and spend all of our time away seeing the sights. This time, our daughter took our car daily and between not having a car and having to work we spent 90% of our time in the rental. What a beautiful and homey place to be for the week! We brought our two small dogs and spent time walking them along the river and sitting on the porch with a blanket and a drink and enjoying the sunsets. Beth Frasier and associates helped me before I got to town with my questions on the Ferry. They also checked on us when we checked out to see how we liked it. I didn't call them once while we were there. We had everything we needed with no issues. We've talked about coming back with a boat in the summer time we liked it so well.
We enjoyed the location, it is quiet and private and the view is marvelous.
The villa was clean and fully equipped. The view from the balconi was to die for. We will definetly be back.
My only note that I was not a big fan of the check in and check out process had to drive 10 minutes to pick up the key and same for drop off. I hope in the future they will install a keyless entry with a code but other than that everything else was great.

The location of of this property is wonderful, peaceful and has an incredible view! Fully equipped with a community pool and gathering place. We are in the process of installing keyless lockboxes on the properties there and already have 2 of the 5 installed.
Our intention was to take the family somewhere with no agenda or schedule and destress from sports work and school. This was the place we needed. We love the pool and the beach area. We were a little disappointed the dock was not accessible. We still fished though. I do think the pool area could use a shade element for days the uv rate is high. Everything else was wonderful. My husband and I had a great laugh trying to get up into the master bed. Lots of belly laughs from the both of us.

Thank you, we are so glad you had a good time. I will speak withe the HOA to see if they would be interested in putting a shade area at the pool.
This is the second time we have stayed in this location and we will definitely be back. The sun rises over the river are beautiful and the home is extremely comfortable. Everything you want for a great stay is here.
Oriental is a small town, but there are several good dining places and a nice little coffee shop. We also appreciated the ease with which we traveled to the beach (Atlantic Beach) and to Beaufort.
The only issue that we had this time was that the access road to the property is in terrible condition. We actually had to limit the number of times we went in and out of our property because of the potholes. We were wet concerned about the condition of our car after travelling on this road. We did report our concern to the rental agency and they said that they are aware of the situation. Hopefully they will repair it soon. Regardless, we love this property and will certainly be back as soon as we can for another vacation.
The balcony on the second level is the jewel of the house. You may relax outside on one of the cozy rockers or on the couch while taking in the scenery. The rest of the property was fantastic; the furnishings were cozy, every item was kept in good condition, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The attention to detail is superb.
We have stayed here before and loved it again. Unfortunately like last time it rained while we were there so we couldn't really enjoy everything but did enjoy sitting on the porch and enjoying the comfy couches. Thanks!
