***We do NOT do stays shorter than 7 nights!!!

***we only rent to 12 people MAX!!

***We do not allow fireworks on our property, you have to obtain a permit from the county to legally light them off.

Cancelation policy for 2026 season:
We require 50% of your rent upfront to hold your week.

Cancel anytime before December 1st 2025 - 500.00 non refundable policy to take your weeks listing off of availability. This 500.00 goes towards your rent but if you cancel it is non refundable. We highly recommend travel insurance. Let us know if you need recommendations.

Hi, welcome to Dragon Fly Hill. We offer our cabin for rent by the week only.

Our cabin comfortably sleeps 12. The cabin is well maintained, it is very clean and we take a lot of pride in our home. On the main level we have 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed, this bedroom also offers a 50 inch flat smart screen TV, a mini fridge and lots of storage; and the second main floor bedroom has a queen. The walk out lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed and a set of bunks, it has a closet and dresser, the lower level also offers a second private bedroom with a queen and a roll out single, perfect for a child. All of our beds are very comfortable. I made sure to choose all cozy, soft, clean bedding.

The cabin offers central air, 3 big flat screen TV's all with DVD players and wifi for streaming. 2 living room areas, a completely stocked kitchen of all dinnerware, utensils, appliances including coffee pot, waffle maker, toaster, crock pot, electric griddle, Kuerig coffee pot and traditional coffee pot, bake ware and pot n pans, everything you need for a comfortable stay. New fridge, dishwasher, microwave etc... Dining area and a huge screened in porch with additional room for dining, for those who prefer to have their meals outdoors, with no bugs while overlooking the lake. We offer two brand new bathrooms as well, both have been gutted and put back together with brand new amenities. The lower lever does have a washer and dryer in cabin for your use at no additional charge. We do supply some linen, a clean cozy bath towels per guest, also dish towels, wash cloths but you would need to supply your own beach towels. We also supply a certain amount of toilet paper (12 rolls) and paper towels, we also leave hand soap at each sink, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing soap, and also some cleaning supplies. After those items are gone it would be your responsibility.

Outside, the cabin sits on 14 acres of land, it is very private. The lake is cozy but big enough to enjoy tubing and skiing if you choose. We do own a canoe, paddle boat, 4 kayaks, lily pad, water hammock and a swimming rafts all for your enjoyment. The fishing is great and the lake is full of nice size pan fish including Bass, Perch, Crappie, Sunny and Northern. We have a beautiful sandy beach, the beach is literally less than 2 minutes from the cabin down a small hill, we throw the kids in the radio flyer wagon and off we go. We have a brand new dock with plenty of room for fishing, swimming or docking your boat, if you choose to bring it, or feel free to rent our pontoon. The water is crystal clear. The beach has a few chaise chairs for sun tanning, reading and relaxing, plus its own hammock. There is also a playground area for children and horseshoes for adults, this area also offers another picnic area. There is also a great area for campfires overlooking the lake with all the firewood you will need for your stay. The cabin does have a small deck where you can watch the sun set over the lake, the deck provides a gas grill for nights you choose to barbeque, we provide the propane.
We are located in Danbury WI. Roughly 2 hours from the Twin Cities. We are less than 15 minutes from St. Croix Casino. Also close too golf, restaurants, great fishing lakes, shopping, river tubing, ATV trails, directly on snowmobiling trail. Or just stay back and lay in the hammock and listen to the loons as the sun is setting. We can’t wait to have you.

We love dogs and are a dog family ourselves. We allow up to 3 well behaved dogs with the proper paperwork filled out. Dogs must be contained to our property, respect our neighbors and not destroy property by chewing or scratching. Our cabin, porch, decks and boats are 100 percent smoke free. We do welcome guest who smoke if you do so in a respectable manner and properly dispose of your butts (not in the fire pit). This is a perfect get away for larger families, we are very kid friendly. We do not rent to partiers and you must be 26 or older to be qualified.
