This is a 1750 square foot home on Core Sound that has recently been renovated. It features an open floor plan with a large kitchen, counter seating for 4 and a dining table for 8, all with spectacular water views. There are 3 bedrooms(2 downstairs and 1 upstairs) and 3 baths. The home will sleep 8 comfortably. There are 2 covered porches and a large waterside deck with comfortable seating. Outside there is a covered cooking area with grills and gas cookers. Launch your kayak off of or tie your boat to the pier. Bait the crab trap that is provided and enjoy a meal of blue crabs and rock crab claws. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a washer and dryer provided for your convenience in a laundry nook off of the main bathroom.
You may see dolphin in the sound or bald eagles in the sky.

Our recent stay was absolutely wonderful! The home is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. We especially loved the peaceful setting and the stunning view of the sound. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The fishing and crabbing right from the dock was excellent, making the trip even more enjoyable. We have been coming to Atlantic for the past 25 years to go shelling and fishing on the beautiful Core Banks. Core Banks can be accessed by Ferry from Atlantic. Since we retired we have been looking in this area for a house and purchased this home in November 2017.

Why they chose this property

What drew us to this house was the beautiful location. The house has large glass windows across the front that allow you to enjoy the gorgeous views. The open layout is conducive to informal family fun.

What makes this property unique

The private pier can be used for crabbing, fishing, and kayaking in Core Sound. The Cape Lookout National Seashore is only 2 miles across the sound and can be accessed by kayak, boat or a ferry that is located only a mile from the property. The fishing village of Atlantic is quiet and secluded but Beaufort and Morehead City with great restaurants and shops are located less than an hour away.
