Not the Cleanest Stay
There were a lot of cleanliness issues, everything else was fine. The check-in and access was great, as was the location and overall layout/cabin. As far as cleanliness, there was a large ball of someone’s hair on the stairs, candy bar crumbs on the coffee table, coffee grind sludge stuck to the bottom of the coffee mugs, lint/clumps of hair in the jacuzzi and its jets, hair in the shower and on the shower walls, and the jacuzzi itself made both myself and my partner itchy (although I assume this is chemicals but combined with the state of the water, it was nerve wracking). We are not very picky people with accommodations but I was genuinely disappointed with the level of cleanliness in this cabin. I’ve stayed with a couple of other companies in Big Bear and never had this come up; even in old, bare bones cabins. It was a bummer as our main point of booking was the jacuzzi.

Cozy cabin
Overall good place to stay, especially with the awesome jacuzzi! For a small space it is very roomy, just a little tight getting in the front door due to kitchen cabinet being built out to door entrance. Kitchen does NOT have any " extras" like salt & pepper and minimum pots and pans and utensils so bring your own if you're stay is long and you'll be cooking. Biggest complaint is NO door mats!! So weird!! This is snow country for goodness sake!! Also no broom or MOP!! Had to use towels to make up for it..not good. Other than that, beds were comfy and had everything we needed...especially that awesome jacuzzi!

As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows.
