Watch the sunset over Pine Lake. Spend the day on your own beach and relax on the luscious backyard.

Lakeside relaxation is our main attraction; located on a dead-end, the cottage offers a place to throw a line out and wait for a bite off the dock right out the backdoor.
Also, everything you need for a cookout: picnic table, gas-grill, and plenty of outdoor chairs. Four kayaks included. (Paddle board and swim pad available for a small fee).

Cozy 3 bedroom/1 bath 1,800 square foot lakefront home.

The house is fully equipped. Wifi now included. Kitchen has the essentials. Bathroom has towels. Bedrooms are provided with sheets, pillows and blankets. The porch looks over the yard and provides shade to relax with your feet up to read a book.
Smart TV and wifi recently added.

All you need to do is bring food and your swimsuit! Swim, fish, kayak right from the backyard!

Great stay

The owners of the property were so accommodating! They readily agreed to leave the dock in during our stay so our 88 year old mother could more easily fish. The house was very clean, cozy and just perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Friends vacation

The home was very nice, clean and beautifully decorated. The seaweed made the private beach unusable and no way to get the kayaks into water.

Happy to host your group! Unfortunately, yes, the amount of turned up seaweed this season is more than usual. The timing of us clearing off the shoreline and beach to haul away, along with the amount collected, did make for an obstacle this past weekend. This cleanup was not a normal circumstance.

Such a clean property and home owners very helpful with everything. There was a few things that were kind of disappointing. The water smell of sulpher is very strong and there is no working fan in the bathroom. We were interrupted on our vacation twice. Once when the son mowed the grass and another where the family was on our side of the dock in the water. Nowhere did it say we had to share with owners. I also don’t recommend going there if you are a smoker bc you have to walk across the street every time. We enjoyed our stay very much but I think those things should be addressed.

Hi Aimee. Thank you for your input and recommendations. We do have well water. Thank you for a recommendation of a fan in the bathroom. That will be installed shortly. We do apologize for the backyard interruption. Our lawn care service is scheduled weekly. They do try to be considerate of working around the guests. It takes them 18 minutes to mow the yard. Yes, the beach is shared with the home owners, as the aerial picture shows. Once again, we do try to be considerate and giving you your space and privacy. During your stay our neighbors children used the beach 20 minutes before they realized there were renters. I would also agree, the accommodations are not geared for smokers. We did ask for smoking to not be done on the patio, to keep the smell of smoke out of the house. I do appreciate your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay on Pine Lake!

Great weekend at the lake

Really enjoyed our stay at this house for a long weekend. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. Great views of the lake from the living room, dining room, and master bedroom along with the sunroom. We really appreciated the giant connect 4 game and beach toys. The gas firepit was nice, we would have loved to have a had a real firepit but understand why they probably wouldn’t want to deal with that. The neighbors had a huge birthday party one night with a live band that played until 11pm. Obviously this isn’t our hosts’ fault and likely not to reoccur for other guests. We enjoyed the music for a while but wish it wouldn’t have gone on so late as it was very loud very late into the night. Other than that, overall great stay. Would definitely recommend this spot and would stay again.

Perfect little house right on Pine Lake

The house was very clean and updated. The beds were super comfy. The house had everything we could need except food and drinks. But there's plenty of stores including a walmart less than 5 miles away. We spent most of our time outside because the weather was beautiful. The grass in the back yard was super soft and the sand from the beach area extends quite far into the water so your feet wont be sore if you like going bare footed. We enjoyed having the kayaks, swim pad, and paddle board available. The owners set them out for us on the beach our first day and even provided life jackets. Our kids fished off of the private dock right off the back yard and caught a couple catfish. We also grilled out most nights and the owners hooked us up again with a grill cart and all the grilling tools. The grill is gas and never runs out because its fed directly from a gas line. This home and the owners really exceeded our expectations. We needed to contact the owners a couple times during our stay and they responded promptly and even stopped by a few times since they live right next door. The neighborhood is also very quiet and safe. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or bike ride. We will definately be back!

Pine Lake perfection.

As advertised: seamless entry, quiet neighborhood, clean and well-maintained property. We stayed here for a Notre Dame football weekend. 30 minutes to ND campus. Great getaway in a serene environment.

Magical Escape !

My husband and I desperately needed an opportunity to recharge. Our stay fit the bill completely! The home is very clean, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet. We spent so much time just sitting outside admiring the lake, reading, and relaxing. The kayaks were an added bonus too! Communication with the owner was easy and timely. We did rent a boat from pinelakerentals.com- they're great as well. The lake is so clean! Cannot wait to return.

The home was exactly as described. Location is ideal for backyard gatherings, launching the owner supplied kayaks and paddleboards (small fee for the paddleboard), or fishing off the dock. Comfortable house for 3 couples given our relatively short 3-day stay. Owner went out of her way to accommodate a special request we had upon arrival.

Lovely lake house!

Our family of four had a very nice three-day break here. The house was very clean, well-equipped and inviting, and our kids really enjoyed playing in the yard. The best part, though, was being right on Pine Lake. It was so beautiful and relaxing! It was also nice to have a break from TV and WiFi so we could really unplug.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was very clean and orderly with many essentials Included. The location on the lake can’t be beat. The sunsets were gorgeous. Had access kayaks and other water activities. Owners were very communicative and responsive. We rent a lot and often find the properties don’t match the advertising. This was not the case here—we will be back!

Family weekend

The rental was exactly as pictured. We were able to check in a little early and the unit was very clean. We were able to rent a boat to enjoy the lake and there are plenty of restaurants and breweries nearby. Unfortunately, the Michigan City beach and pier were closed during our stay. Laura was very helpful with all of our questions!
