This lakefront property comes with 3 Kayaks, paddle boat, 2 paddle boards has almost 70 foot of lake frontage with a deck over the seawall and pier with swimming. Dock your own boat right in front! Kayak around our beautiful lake and hangout in the 2 story screened porch with the best views of the lake. Nearby attractions Lake Michigan, Dunes National Lakeshore, New Buffalo MI, Lighthouse Mall, Mount Baldy, Three Oaks Michigan, Union Pier and Sawyer. 30 minutes to Notre Dame. Kitchen has big stainless fridge and nice stainless/black stove.*** Rental does not have access to the garage. I do have a studio in the back of the house that I use when I am in town. I may or may not be there during your stay, but it is sound proofed and the entire yard/lake is yours. Very private. I do have a camera in front of my door only. Entrance to studio is is off of garage and completely separate from your entrance. The area is extremely safe and family friendly.

Great stay and location on the lake. A bit close to the road, but you really cannot hear the noise, from the back of the property. Great inside space and beautiful views.

Beautiful home with lots of space for family. Really well stocked. Swimming n kayaking right off the Pier. Love the little private alcove rooms where people could get away for some quiet time. Huge screened in porch overlooking the lake. Fenced in area for our family dog. Lots of stairs but that’s normal for lake property. The hostess was very accommodating. Our family loved it.

Great place for a family getaway!

This was our second time staying here and everything was just as great as the first time!We enjoyed the kayaks provided, and having a dock for our boat was super convenient. The porch is a beautiful spot for relaxing and playing games at night after a day on the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils as well as salt, pepper, etc.Kelly is a great host and was easy to communicate with. We will be back!

We really enjoyed the property and the lake. The owner was great to work with and everything we needed was at the property. My family and the dogs were very comfortable. So much to do for a quick trip. We would love to come back another time!

Great vacation spot

The lakefront home had a great view and easy access to the lake for boating and kayaking. The large yard and screened in porch were wonderful. The home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Kelly was a great host and made sure our experience was the best it could be. We would definitely return for a future stay.

The best place for a girls weekend

The house was clean, well equipped , and perfect for a girls weekend, multiple families, and multiple couples. It has an amazing view of the lake. We would definitely rent this place again when it gets warmer out to take advantage of its amenities. Rooms were big and the beds were comfortable.

Nice property, great amenities.

Very nice house, perfect fit for all of us, close to everything. Getting in and out of the drive could be difficult at certain times. House was very comfortable, could use a few more updates here and there, and a few new light bulbs, but overall we had a great stay!

So peaceful

Great stay with huge exposure to the lake. Enjoyed our time overlooking the lake every moment we could. Rooms were very comfortable. Bonus to have cable (most other VRBOs we stay at do not). Host hasn’t taken any short cuts. Very fully stocked kitchen, shampoos, lotions etc. Great communication and easy access. Looking forward to coming back in the summer!

Good place to relax

Very nice for our needs. We wanted to pier fish but the fish weren't biting. The only complaint is the screen porch isn't useful because there was a good potion of the screen missing.

Perfect for family

This was the 4th time I rented this property. It is absolutely perfect for our family summer vacation. The private dock allows us to take our boat, the long deck is perfect for fishing from shore or just sitting/enjoying the lake. Kids can safely swim right off the dock. Everything you need to cook together and plenty of opportunities to order in if that's what you prefer. Our favorite spot is the large screened porch for playing cards, doing a puzzle, enjoying dinner together, etc. Kelly is a very responsive host - extremely friendly and easy to work with. Can't wait to visit again!

Worked great for us

It's an older place located in town, everything including AC works great and plenty of hot water for 11 people. Larger lakefront property with a dock that we trailered down a pontoon boat for. All the water toys included (paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat). Fenced in area that we could let our small dog sniff around. Great screened in 2 story porch that's well shaded. We were able to park 5 vehicles and a boat trailer on site. Nice place all in all.

Loved It!

Was very nervous about renting a house - I didn't know the area so I wasn't sure how it would be. The house was Perfect! We had 10 adults & 3 small children stay at the house and it was the perfect size. The house was very clean, clean sheets, clean towels. Pictures of the house are accurate. The house is right on the lake and I don't think I saw 1 spider in the house. Lake is pretty clean to swim in and not very deep. We went down the street about 5 min drive to the beach. We rented a boat and was able to dock it right at our rented house. Kelly was very helpful with anything we needed! Offered us to call or text her if we had any questions at all. She even has a binder with things to do around the area and locations of stores and places to eat. Has a sun room that is great at night so you can still enjoy the outside without the bugs. The town, shops, grocery store, places to eat are all about 5-10 mins away. Gas station right across the street from the house which was perfect for us to get ice for the coolers. We are already talking about going back next year and making it a yearly trip with the family! I will definitely recommend this place to any of our friends. We had a great time! Thanks Kelly!

Very lovely house and setting on the lake! We had so much swimming right from the yard. The lake was clean and warm! The host included kayaks and paddle boards. The house was big and spacious. We really loved sitting in the screened in porch. The kitchen had any utensil and pots we needed! We had a great time and would love to come back. The host was very accommodating and kind!

This is an excellent home for large families! We are 12 strong and the house accommodated us perfectly! The lake front is beautiful! Loved sitting on the huge screened in porch! Kelly the owner was extremely responsive and so friendly, very accommodating. The house is very well stocked. Two draw backs for us were :located on a busy street and no places you can really walk to but getting past that we loved our stay.

Other than the busy road behind this property, it is a great location. Our favorite part of the property is the two-story screened-in room at the front of the property. We spent the majority of our time there, eating our meals, playing games, and just relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake. The host is very responsive and available for any needs.

Beautiful place

We enjoyed are stay while visiting LaPorte for my mom's 90th birthday. It was such a beautiful view over the water to wake up to each morning. Definitely hope to stay again when we visit in the future.

We love this house for so many reasons. The view is incredible. Fish, swim, ski, kayak or just hang out on the deck or in the 2 story screened porch. We are 15 minutes to lake Michigan, one hour to downtown Chicago and 20 minutes to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. (Named one of the top beaches in the nation! You can take the train to Chicago for the day and relax!

What makes this property unique

There are 3 Kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a canoe are there for your use. There are some life jackets as well. This is truly an amazing property and so relaxing with the most magnificent view of the lake. Pictures don't do it justice!
