The home was perfect for our family to stay for New Years. Plenty of space for our grandkids to play in the yard. Great kitchen. Everything was well stocked. We appreciated the personal touches that made us feel at home. Host was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely stay again.
Lovely home on the golf course. Clean, comfortable beds, & the best stocked kitchen (& VRBO, for that matter) we've ever experienced! Friendly & charming host available for any issue. Great location, and we even had a balloon land almost in our backyard! Beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was excellent. There was everything you could possibly need. Kitchen was fully stocked with beautiful dishes right down to creamer and sugar for coffee. The yard was relaxing and we loved watching the birds come to the feeders. We thought the location was very pleasant and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Loved our stay! The views of the mountains and golf course were fantastic; and seeing the hot air balloons in the mornings were a bonus! The home had everything we could ask for and Shariesse was super helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a lovely place to stay. Communication with the owner was great and she was so helpful. We highly recommend this location. They thought of absolutely everything.
We enjoyed our stay in Shariesse’s home. She is warm and welcoming. She stocks many things for your stay like toilet paper, travel tissues and sunscreen. If you don’t have plans during your stay she is full of information to share of the best things to do! I thoroughly meeting her in person. Salt of the earth human being. The views are so beautiful, morning and night. We stayed during the balloon fiesta and saw balloons flying over the golf course. If we return to ABQ we know a great place to return too!
Extremely clean and thoughtful hosts. Went above and beyond for us, we are staying again!

It was our pleasure to be first-time Vrbo hosts to this lovely family for spring break. They sent us messages about the wonderful time they had exploring Albuquerque and seemed to enjoy the views of the mountains from the backyard. We would love to have them stay with us again. We appreciate the “10 outta 10” review. :-)
I was super grateful to find this gem near my friends house. I was able to have my own space filled with considerate amenities, great views, and amazing host hospitality. I will definitely be interested in coming back again and working while visiting my friend!

Thank you Vrbo for introducing us to Jessica and her sweet puppy Basil. It was a delight to host them, and we look forward to their return.
My family stayed in this home for 4 nights and we loved it. It is in a great location. Easy to get to Old Town and Downtown. Not too far from Meow Wolfe, Chimayo, the Fire and Ice cave, or even some of Route 66. Shariesse, our host, left toys out for the young one we were with, and she had a blast. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, cups, plates, and cookware. We enjoyed our stay.

5-Star Review! We have been Vrbo hosting since May 2015, and this was perhaps our favorite, most successful booking. Why? Because these two couples booked nearly a year in advance for their “bucket list” Albuquerque International Balloon adventure. So, as one might imagine, we were under a bit of pressure. During the following months we stayed in touch to be sure the property would be suitable for them. It appears it was a perfect match, and we are happy they had such a wonderful trip.
When we returned to the property, we were pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful gift basket from their home town, Pittsburgh, PA. We look forward to their return in the near future.
Thank you Vrbo! It’s folks like these who make our job so much fun!!
Fondly,
Shariesse
Very clean, well kept yard, and wonderful views. The only negative would be that all three bedrooms are upstairs. Otherwise a wonderful stay in a great location.

Thank you Betty. We’re pleased that you had a wonderful stay, and we appreciate your generous 5-star review. For some, all three bedrooms upstairs may be a perfect fit; for others, it may not be desirable. It is kind of you to remind future guests of the floor plan so that they may choose the Vrbo home that best fits their needs. Fondly, Shariesse
This was a lovely home base during the Balloon Fiesta. Shariesse was a fabulous host. She left games and puzzles out for our family and checked in to see if we needed anything. The house has beautiful golf course views and plenty of outside spaces to enjoy the quiet scenery. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the living spaces are incredibly comfortable and cozy.

This is a lovely property with a great view.
The home was cozy and stocked with all necessary items. We loved the local coffee left by Shariesse and Phyllis.
More importantly the hosts were generous with their personal grandchildren items and left the house stocked with toys for our grandkids...including outdoor toys to play with in the BEAUTIFUL backyard.
We so enjoyed our stay despite the heat wave. Chariesse' s house is filled with lovely details making it so comfortable. We especially loved the back yard overlooking the golf course and beautiful views. The pheasants and their babies and all the other birds that visited the bird feeder were a delight. We will definitely come back when we're in the area and will recommend it to any friends visiting Albuquerque.

We enjoyed hosting this nice couple from New York City and their well behaved dog Jax. We checked on them a couple of times, and they seemed to be making the best of the heat wave. Thank goodness for refrigerated air conditioning to keep them comfortable, as the temps reached 100 degrees during their stay.
We look forward to seeing them next time.
We always appreciate a 5-star review.

This house is everything that is advertised and more. Shariesse went above and beyond as a host from the initial phone call after booking to the welcoming gifts and recommendations on restaurants and things to do. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do…hot air ballooning, Breaking Bad tour, museums, Sandia Peak. Beautiful wildlife was fun to watch both in the yard and on the golf course. We had a wonderful week.

This family of four traveled 1400+ miles to visit The Land of Enchantment. We were delighted that they chose Tesoro del Alma and had such a wonderful vacation. It was fun to occasionally text message with them during their stay, as they were always away on some fabulous adventure or eating delicious food at a popular local restaurant. We are grateful to Vrbo for coordinating yet another perfect fit. We never take for granted a generous 5-star review. Thank you kindly, Shariesse and Phyllis.
About the host
Hosted by Shariesse Taylor McCannon, 505-220-1776
We are a mother-daughter team who pay special attention to detail. We are Vrbo Premier Hosts, established in May 2015. We have had a lot of fun hosting and developing friendships
Critter watching is a favorite hobby. We have logged over 90 species of birds in the field guide that have come to the feeders. We like to watch the squirrels and bunnies play. We offer peanut butter, jelly, suet and seed. The baby quail are just darling
Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful from the backyard and veranda. It is peaceful to watch the mountains change colors in the evening from pink to purple to gray.
Why they chose this property
The views, of course ;-) Tesoro del Alma “Treasure of the Soul” is located on a golf course, and we can see for miles in all directions -- Sandia and Manzano Mountains to the east, city to the south, petroglyphs to the west, and open skies to the north. The colors of the mountain change throughout the day and in the evenings turn from pink to purple to gray. The two-story home is just the right size -- about 1591 square feet. It is peaceful to sit on the private veranda or fenced patio. More than 90 species of birds, including quail, finches, roadrunners, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds have visited the property. It's always fun to see hot air balloons glide over the house and sometimes land on the golf course just yards away. The backyard is well manicured with Kentucky Blue Grass and flowers. There is easy access to popular sites -- Balloon Fiesta Park, Sandia Peak Tram, Zoo, Old Town, Railrunner, Sawmill District, museums, Rio Grande River. There are several parks within walking distance -- a neighborhood park, 18-hole Disc course, tennis courts, playground, dog park and Petroglyph National Monument. It’s about 11 miles from Albuquerque International Airport. Just a mile from the interstate and minutes from hospitals, banks, grocery stores, and shopping malls. Santa Fe is about an hour away.
What makes this property unique
Spectacular views of golf course, mountains and petroglyphs from the patio, backyard, veranda, and thirteen windows and sliding doors. Hot air ballons glide overhead and land on the golf course. Baby quail visit the property in the spring and hummingbirds visit in the summer and fall.
