D6 House @ D6: Swim/Hike/Relax

The D6 House is a lovely 4-bedroom home (sleeps 10) with a large private deck featuring sunset views, a full-sized kitchen open to the living/dining room that includes a stainless-steel stove, full size refrigerator, pot filler, stainless steel microwave, center island & farmhouse sink. A private charcoal grill right outside the back door and additional grilling stations are located near the pool. Please bring your favorite charcoal & other grilling essentials! The kitchen is stocked for guests with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots & pans, dish soap, sponges, dish towels, steak knives, hot pads, mixing bowls, baking sheets, can opener, blender, toaster & coffee maker. D6 is fully stocked with plush towels, wash clothes, hand towels & pool towels. Laundry detergent, hair dryer, soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided as well. There are extra pillows, throws as well as an iron & ironing board for guests to use during their stay. Baby beds with sheets are included for all of our guests traveling with families.

Yoga or Meditation Offerings: We welcome guests from around the globe and all-levels of meditation and yoga experience. We look forward to meeting you in class! We also offer on-site private sessions. Weekend class schedule and private session info will be sent upon booking.

Our property features a wet weather creek, primitive hiking trails, & a 20 acre private wildlife preserve with deer & beautiful birds of all kinds. There is a jungle gym for kids & many guests love to grab s'mores kits from the 13 Acres Cafe and head to the fire pit for a memorable nightly snack.
Our 12,000 gallon infinity edge pool makes for a great escape during the hot summer days in Texas. Please note that the pool is not heated from Dec 20-March 1 due to temperature limits on the heat pump. Cold plunges welcome if done responsibly and safely! We 100% support the benefits of the cold for healing and wellness! There are hammocks, outdoor park grills, fire pits & picnic tables in our community area as well. Grilling stations are located just steps from your front porch. Please bring your favorite charcoal & other grilling essentials!

High speed AT&T u-verse internet is free for all guests & Wi-Fi is available.
The TV has Amazon Fire Stick installed for access to your favorite streaming services.
There is cell phone reception coverage over 99% of D6 Retreat.

D6 Wellness Retreat & 13 Acres Meditation retreats were created to cultivate a connection to nature, self and loved ones. Mindfulness Guidelines are outlined below for all guests who visit our spaces. We strive to maintain a 100% calm, peace-filled space for all!
- We are a short term retreat and only allow for stays up to 7 days in a 30 day period at any of our managed properties.

Pros: house set-up was very accommodating and well decorated for our group. The property itself was very nice and friendly. Cons: the house was not very clean and dishes were dirty-looking. This may be due to the water quality but definitely off-putting if you wanted or needed to use anything.

We stayed at D6 retreat because we were attending a family wedding in the area. We needed a place that could hold 11 people, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The kids enjoyed hiking on the beautiful hill country property and swimming in the pool. The house is very open and comfortable and with a large group there was plenty of room at the table and large bar area for meals. So, if you are looking for a place for a large group to stay, we can highly recommend D6 Retreat. All photos show true to date what the house looks like.

Your house was close to our wedding venue. The grounds were quiet and peaceful. The bedroom arrangement was nice that they were at both ends of the house. The kitchen island was so nice for being able to gather while we were cooking and eating.

Nice decoration, spacious master bedroom and bathroom! Very peaceful and quiet space! But wish the pots, dishes and utensils were cleaned. Kitchen cabinets drawers are dirty. Wanted to quick wash our clothes, but the rubber ring is moldy…….

False Expectation

While the pictures are beautiful and the description states luxury, it is far from. We were here staying with family and friends for my daughter‘s wedding. The house was dirty, the microwave was absolutely disgusting as well as the inside of the oven, the floors were gritty and grimy the guest bathtub would not drain because it was so filled with hair and grime. All the toilets were dirty, and even had hair along the rim when you lifted the seat. The entire house is in great need of paint. There are rips in the linoleum flooring. The master bedroom bed is being held up by cinderblock in the middle with an actual Roach motel sitting beside it. The guest room with the full size bed is nothing but foam mattresses that you sink into and cannot even turn over, there is no way two people can sleep in this bed comfortably because you roll in the middle and stuck. The other two bedrooms beds were extremely hard.I did not reach out to the host due to. We were here for my daughter‘s wedding and this was the last thing I wanted to deal with on her special day. Lots of pictures were taken.of the condition of the house. We stay with VBRO often and this is the first negative review I have ever written
