4 bedroom house, fully furnished, numerous tv's, high speed internet, large yard with deck,, bbq, and laundry facilities. House is situated in town centre of Ridgetown , Ontario. 10 minute drive to beach (Lake Erie). Restaurants, drug store, liquor store, supermarket all within 1 km of house. Fully furnished and air conditioned. about 50 minutes away from London, Ont, and 25 minutes away from downtown Chatham.

Mostly used for sleeping

It would be nice if one of the beds was a queen or king size. We only ate breakfast, which was cereal, so we didn’t need to use the house to cook in. It could use some updating.

If I could rate it a zero I would. The property was unclean, run down, and should not be rented. Half of the lights did not work, the beds were unclean, and the smoke detectors were not operational, we did not even stay in the rental for the 2 nights due to the shape of this place, and the fact that it was just unsafe with disconnected smoke alarms.

The house was very dirty, dishes in the sink, microwave was really dirty inside, clutter on the dining table, bathroom garbages not emptied. The table on the back patio was broken, so not usable. For the cost of the weekend, I expected a lot more from the property.

The house was overgrown and not well maintained. The inside was not as clean as I would expect from a VRBO property. Floors were dirty. Linens were clearly worn and beds were less than comfortable. Very disappointed.

I was very disappointed in this rents. It was not clean, plugs didn’t work, sink clogged, cupboards very dirty, no small lamp in bedrooms for reading, stove was dirty, lots of spiders and Spiderwebs. Floors were dirty. Bbq was not clean. I would not recommend this place for a vacation destination.

Spacious Victorian House in Ridgetown

This place is dilapidated and unkempt. It didnt seem to be really dirty but it showed very little effort or money has been spent on it. The lamps didn't have shades but only bare bulbs. The back door outside light had a sign saying it didn't work. it was very dark returning after dark. The cridge worked well and was fairly clean. There were two ice trays that were only partly filled. The air conditioner worked very well. The property is overgrown and trashy outside. There was trash on the back drive and trash under the back steps and deck. The was an old cooler, a plate of metal and who knows what else! The place needs cleaning and painting. Starting from the back stairs and deck, the back door, the walls, ceiling and woodwork was in poor shape needing painting, staini.g or varathaning. It was not at all warm and inviting. I was glad it was only me since my wife would not have stayed there. To sum it up - yuck!!!
