About this property

The Axtell complex location does not get any better being situated right at the base of Silver Queen lift on Mount Crested Butte. Enjoy additional property amenities like complimentary wifi and an outdoor communal hot tub to observe the base area activity. Strict parking for 1 on-site. There are other pay parking options available, or free parking in the town of Crested Butte.

This 1 bedroom, 1 full bath condominium is located slopeside to the Silver Queen Lift on the second floor. Quaint kitchen with updated countertops, stainless steel appliances, and fully equipped. A small dining nook can be found just off the kitchen, seating for two to enjoy a nice meal. Additional seating for 2 more is located at the kitchen breakfast bar. Spacious master bedroom with king bed and a flat-screen TV. This unit features two balconies, one of the living room that looks at the base area activity and one additional off of the master bedroom that looks southeast toward the Axtel and Red Lady Mountains. Stacked washer and dryer are located in the hallway closet. There is free basic wireless internet provided. Not always the best for streaming, but great for browsing the web and checking email. Strict parking for 1 on-site. There are other pay parking options available, or free parking in the town of Crested Butte.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. Axtel is within close walking distance of the main transit center. Summer schedule runs every 20 minutes; winter schedule runs every 15 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes.

Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management provides the basic comforts of home. Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. Perfect location

Great place, on the slope, clean and comfortable. We did not receive the check-in instructions until we called and the room lacked coffee (only decaf)and cups(only lips), so the first morning was rough. They need an elevator too.

Great Place to Stay!

The condo was in pretty good shape and the kitchen had the items we needed to fix breakfast and lunch in the condo. The employees at Crested Butte Lodging were so kind and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room was in a perfect location. The only complaint I have is that everytime the toilet was flushed it looked like it was going to overflow. I called maintenance who came and stated that it was not the plumbing but the toilet is very old and not water efficient. In this day of being energy efficient, it's a real shame that so much water is being wasted.
