This house is a one-of-a-kind from the exceptional wood work through-out the home from local cedar trees. The trees that surround the property and tranquil setting give privacy, peace and beauty. Sit and enjoy the sound of the stream flowing and birds singing from the decks that overlook Divide Creek. If you want to be active and take in all this area has to offer or just get away and enjoy some R&R, this is the house for you! The Cedar house is conveniently located 4 miles from I-70 Corridor giving easy access to Glenwood Hot Springs Pool/Iron Mountain Hot Springs Pool (29 minutes), Glenwood Adventure Park (25minutes) Sunlight Mountain (45 minutes), Other Skiing at Aspen, Snowmass, Powder Horn, and Vail, Wine tasting through the vineyards of Palisade (1 hour), explore the beauty of Rifle Falls (35 minutes) Lakota Canyon Golf Course (20 minutes), White Water Rafting, Fly Fishing on the Colorado River(4 miles). The property borders BLM for a multitude of trails for all the hiking, biking and snowshoeing you could want. Hunters access BLM 2 miles up the road and 7 miles to national forest.

It was ok, did not like that no curtains on any main windows close to a fairly busy road. We only stayed 2 out of the 4 days booked. Just did not feel comfortable staying there.

I am sorry you should have let me know. We have curtains on all the windows facing the road so I’m a little co fused by the comment. This house is in the county and we have very little traffic. This time of year our road is a little busier then normal as we have hunters going up and ranchers moving hay. Please reach out to homeowners in the future if you need something so they can help you.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin in Silt, CO. It is so cozy with such great attention paid to design and comfort. Charity made check in simple and was easy to get in touch with. A great base for our explorations in Glenwood Springs and Aspen. Miner's Claim and the Wednesday night trivia at Rislende Riverside were great ways to end the day so close to the house.

What a great unique home in a wonderful location. This place worked as a great base to take in all the activities and sites in the area. The home is beautifully crafted with modern updates. It has everything you need. The host was very welcoming and responsive, you can tell she cares about her guests. Would not hesitate to book this home again!

We loved this home! It’s perfect for a big family. Cozy, private and the perfect getaway to recharge. Amenities were above and beyond and the host was thoughtful and communicative. Would definitely stay here again!

We love this property! We have stayed here twice and have just booked next year to return. We travel with our standard poodles and this has an excellent outside area for them to exercise and where we can play with them and enjoy the sounds of the stream that is just next to the backyard and under the deck area. The home is very comfortable and with the air conditioning(swamp cooler) it is cool enough even in the upper 90's that we had this year! No complaints!! Charity is very quick to respond to any questions, or needs. Being able to book with a deposit and payment of balance closer to our arrival date is very helpful with budgeting! We highly recommend this beautiful property.

We had a fantastic time! The best part was the fully fenced/enclosed yard! We took our two dogs and it was so nice to have a nice big space for them to explore without worrying that they were going to escape. We couldn't ask for a better experience. The home, location and property manager were all great. Peaceful but close enough to I-70 for convenient traveling. The house was very clean and well stocked, and our host was quick to reply and very helpful. Looking forward to another trip there in the future.

Great stay in peaceful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was so quiet and peaceful and great having our own space. The creek was great to be near and the fenced in yard was great to have for our dog. We would stay here again!

We had a nice stay. Charity was available and checked in with us. She was very kind to put up a couple of "happy birthday" signs for my husband. We stayed with my in laws and our two young kids. Sleeping arrangements worked well for us. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, oven was a little tough to get to work so we used the toaster oven the most. It would be nice if there were a few more curtains for privacy, but it was still a great place to stay. Would recommend for families :)
