About this property
Cozy Cabin on secluded ranch in Mammoth Lakes just .1 miles from Old Mammoth Rd.
The location is one of a kind lodging opportunity in Mammoth Lakes, capturing the western feel and mining heritage of the area. With 360-degree unobstructed mountain views, the property provides solitude while being located just on the edge of town and within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shopping. Arguably the single best location in Mammoth Lakes for stargazing, sunrises, and sunsets. Located on Forest Service land the property is near Sherwin Creek and the historical Hayde Cabin Museum. The site and surrounding areas were used in the filming of Steve McQueen's "Nevada Smith." Nestled at the base of the Sherwin Mountain range with views of Mammoth Mountain and the White Mountains, there is nothing like it. The cabins are considered "tiny houses" and is 375 square feet. Nicely equipped with 1 bedroom, a full kitchen and a full bathroom, and a smart television allowing you to stream with your favorite apps.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Deeds

I am the General Manager of this amazing property. I have been regularly coming to Mammoth Lakes since the age of 4, when my mother and father brought the family skiing from southern California. I made the move to Mammoth permanently in February 2006 and have been in property and hospitality management during that time.
Why they chose this property
This property has an amazing history to it. There is nothing like it in the town of Mammoth Lakes. Guests here will enjoy having their own unit, with no shared walls. The views afforded from the ranch are plentiful, whether you are looking up at the stars, across the open meadows, the sunrise, and sunset, or the mountains that surround the property.
What makes this property unique
Unlike the majority of other lodging options; hotels, motels, and condominiums, the Ranch offers our guests a true mountain feel and experience.
