This property is not handicap accessible 12 steps leading to the front door. I have had damage to the shower door, toilet roll dispenser and towel racks in the bathroom guests using as balance handles and lifting themselves. I will not be responsible for any injuries and I will charge for damages! This is not a handicap rental!!!

The house was very clean and in a very convenient location. We were able to check in a little early which we really appreciated. The rooms were very nice and the beds very comfortable. Doug was very helpful with places to eat and visit. We would put this high on our list to visit again.

Doug's place was just as described. Beautiful view, convenient to shops, restaurants, and bars. He met us for check in and provided great info on dining and activities in Seward. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen if you want to dine in. Very responsive during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great location. It is easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Views from the front windows are amazing! The house is well laid out and very comfortable. Doug is an excellent host. Thanks to his overview, we knew how everything in the house works. That’s a real plus.

Seward Visit

This property was perfect for my group of 4, husband, sister and BIL. The location was great for our itinerary. The furnishings were comfortable and clean. It was great to have the kitchen facilities when we ate in. Everything was as listed in the summary of property. I especially liked that the bathroom towels/wash clothes were plentiful! And wow! That view out of the front window was amazing.

Post relay relaxing in Seward

Our group helps organize and volunteers to staff the annual 230 mile Alaska Relay from Mirror Lake to Seward by NxNW Relays. This Vrbo stay was our post relate place to relax and complete wrap-up in town. Its location was convenient and near the top of the hill on 2nd, offered a view of the area, as well as a well comfortable living room and bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals.

Perfect house for us

Great location in Seward within walking distance to everything. Comfortable, clean home. Met host when we arrived, was unobtrusive after that, but available if we needed him which we didn't. Everything was as listed. Good choice.

The best

Doug’s place was perfect!! Great location, super clean, and Doug was wonderful. We left our 84 year old mom so we could do an all day excursion. Doug not only let me put him down as an in case of emergency person BUT he also came by to check on her and visit with her while we were gone. Talk about above and beyond. Mom loved the visit. You can’t go wrong booking with Doug.
