Cozy Cabin With Mountain Views

Remodeled by a master craftsman in late summer of 2016. Our cabin is a cozy, welcoming spot to relax after hiking in Glacier. We're in the perfect location along the historic trap-line of the Flathead river. Forrest and Marielle are always available to answer any questions you may have about outdoor adventures and have the inside scoop on where the locals hang out. Come enjoy the adventure and escape the hustle and bustle of city life at Trapline!

Charming

Fabulous location of the cabins very close to park. Cabins are super clean, attention to detail at every glace, family and pet friendly, linens and beds are super comfortable. Can not say enough great things about our stay. Owners are wonderful! We would definitely stay there again

Perfect homey place close to Glacier park.

This little cabin was a perfect little place to feel at home, with everything you need. It was easy to access and close to the Park. The little kitchen had everything you needed if you desired to cook something, with a counter to sit at. It had a nice TV using ROKU, and WIFI access. The bed was nice, a little too soft for my liking, but that's just me. No stairs and you park at the door. The hosts were responsive to concerns. Overall, it was very cute and clean and felt like home on a small scale.

Place Rocks!

The host, Laura is the most wonderful woman! We hung out with her a bit and chatted she’s sweet and had information about all our questions. The place was stocked with everything we needed and anything we asked for she supplied immediately. I will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in the area. Her lab, Beckham is the sweetest boy, I missed my dog so it was nice to hang out with him.

Comfortable cabin close to Glacier

These cabins are very comfortable and well appointed. I doubt I have ever stayed in a rental anywhere with a more well appointed kitchen. Everything you will need to prepare your meals is available and in brand new condition. The entire cabin seems to be brand new - very clean, excellent condition, and air-conditioned! The cabins are located a short drive to Glacier National Park, which is where we spent most of our time. The town of Columbia Falls is just a few minutes away, but we did not visit more than just the grocery store, preferring to cook our own meals (which is why the fully stocked kitchen was so wonderful!) One of my favorite features of this property is the common area fire pit. Laura has an abundance of firewood and fire starters/ kindling available, as well as a grilling rack and all the tools you will need (i.e. skewers, tongs, etc). We cooked steak and potatoes over an open fire our first night there and it was just perfect. The one and ONLY reason I did not rate this as 5 stars is because of the location right along the main road. The noise never bothered us and there is an obvious argument to be made for convenience, but it's just a personal preference. Despite this, I would happily stay here in the future and recommend this place to my friends and family.

Not what we expected : (

We thought that this cozy cabin would be off of the highway, not on it. I guess that was why it took so long to get the actual address and why it was book with No refunds. That should have been the first clue. We thought VRBO was a step up from other rentals. Our cabin was not cleaned on the window side of the bed and the drawers next to it were covered in dried mud. We thought there was to be a washer and dryer in cabin, but instead shared and expected to pay. We spent WAY too much $$$$ for a cabin with freeway noise at night, a Starbucks across the street as our view. We were asked to strip the bed and carry out the trash before check out. That was insult to injury. My mom would call this place highway robbery. I would never stay here again.

Trapline Cabins is a terrific place!

This place is wonderful. It was in a perfect location for us to explore the area. With the beautiful landscaping and quaint cabin, it couldn't have been any better. It was also VERY clean when we arrived, so thanks to the great cleaning person.

Look no further!!!

You cannot find a much better location than this. Quaint little cabin giving you the perfect base camp for your adventures! Nestled about twenty minutes from Glacier this place was great for us on our trip. Laura had everything we needed including bear spay for our hikes in the park and coffee to fuel our mornings. She even had a rollaway set up and made for our son. We will surely make this our first place to stay when we return!

Everything at Trapline was perfect. Laura goes above and beyond to make this a temporary home. Her suggestions for hiking and dining are spot on and truly made our stay even better. Great location for the Glacier NP area and beyond. What a treat to stay here.

The host was great and provided great accommodations. There was one minor issue with the shower curtain install, but that did not detract from the overall experience too much. The provided coffee, bear spray option, and bug spray option were great pluses that were very much appreciated. Thank you Laura!

We are foodies, love the path less traveled, and an enjoy a good laugh around the campfire. We couldn’t imagine a better place to live happily and raise our growing family.

Why they chose this property

We took one trip to The Flathead Valley and ended up moving here seven months later. It is our pleasure to share this incredible part of the world with you.

What makes this property unique

My location is so perfect to access every activity in the area- but especially Glacier National Park. We are in the northeast corner of the Flathead Valley just before the entrance to the canyon leading to Glacier. You are 15 minutes from the Park, but also only 15 minutes from Whitefish, an easy 20 minute drive to amazing Flathead Lake, and minutes from several award winning golf courses. We have three different public fishing accesses on Flathead River within 4.5 miles of us- 2 are within one mile. Whitewater rafting on the fabulous Middle Fork of the Flathead River is located in West Glacier only 15 miles up the road.
