We had the most perfect stay in Grand Lake! The location is walkable to everything in downtown Grand Lake. The space was spacious and perfect for gathering with friends!
Very clean and like brand new condo with a nice mountain view. Perfect location, close to the park gate and walking distance to the town. Good hikes around in the mountains just five minutes drive. Grocery market within minute walking distance.
We had a great time at this condo in Grand Lake. Communication beforehand was very clear, and the property was as advertised. We especially appreciated the proximity to the grocery store! Overall this is a great location for someone who doesn't need to be lakefront to enjoy their time in GL.
Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking which we did every day. Mountain View to be had off the balcony or from the living room and the front bedroom is wonderful. Very convenient to the town of Grand Lake, and the Mountain Market for groceries and sundries. Just a few miles to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park’s west gate. If you enter before 9 o’clock, no reservations are needed unless you want to do the Bear Lake complex. Many local trails are also abundant in the area. No need to go to the park every day for hiking. Very quiet neighborhood. We slept with the windows open every night. Elk and the Aspen did not disappoint. We will be back again next year for sure.
The property was exactly as described. In a safe, quiet neighborhood near downtown Grand Lake, but also only a few miles from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park West entrance. The condo was clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen as well laid out and easy to use with all the amenities. We enjoyed the use of the grill on the little porch and also the fireplace on one evening that was chilly. We will definitely stay there again

Location and view amazing, cleanliness terrible
The location of this property is amazing. You’re so close to RMNP, downtown and the lake. It was quick access when we wanted to head down to the lake for a little bit. My mom and her husband, myself and my two boys (ages 7, and 2 months) stayed here comfortably. However, the cleanliness of this property was terrible. The floors were sticky, carpet is stained everywhere, dust, handprints all over things, trash can needs a good wiping down.

Hello Melissa, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark. The owner wanted to address the items you mentioned: We take the cleanliness of our property seriously and we are sorry the home was not ready upon your arrival. The carpet is scheduled to be replaced this fall, at the end of the busy season. We have since replaced the old trash can with a brand new one. Our cleaning crew has been notified of this issue so it does not happen with future guests. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve for our guests!

Adequate
The condo is spacious but sparsely appointed (true to the pictures). The carpet was filthy. Our unit (2nd floor) was bordered by a road that was occasionally busy and noisy.

Hi Kathleen, we hope you enjoyed your stay here overall! The owner wanted to let you know that the carpet is deep cleaned every September, at the end of their busy season. They will also be replacing it at the end of this year. Regarding the road noise, we do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home before booking, but we apologize that this caught you off guard. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
Overall the condo was fine. It is nice and big. No lake view but close to the downtown area. The sofa sleeper frame is not level so we had to use the small mattress on the floor. The bedrooms are big. The primary bathroom has a couple of roller wheels missing on the glass shower doors so they do not close easily. As with most condos in the area, it does not have A/C, but that was not an issue in late September.

Not a pet free property
Even though it's advertised as no pets...for renters, it is obvious that condo owners have pets. My husband has pet allergies and was suffering during our stay. There were stains on the carpet and no comfortable chairs. The road that ran alongside the condo was very busy all day. Right across from the post office. The parking permit was missing and we had to call the owner to find out what to do.

Hi Christine, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
We are glad you chose our home and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. This home is pet-free, we do not use it for personal use and there are no pets from other guests in the condo. We do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location and nearby roads of the home prior to booking, but we apologize that this caught you off guard. No parking pass is required and we did inform you of that during your stay.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback.
Comfortable condo with good location in Grand Lake
We recently stayed in a second-floor condo in Grand Lake, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, just a 15-minute walk to downtown and Point Park, making it easy to explore the area. The check-in process was mostly smooth, although we encountered a minor issue with the parking pass not being in the condo. Fortunately, the host was responsive, and we were able to resolve it quickly. While the condo had many positives, cleanliness was an area that could use improvement. The oven and refrigerator could have been cleaner, and the carpets didn’t seem to be vacuumed well.On the plus side, the condo featured a nice kitchen, decent Wi-Fi, and a lovely deck overlooking a school playground. The variety of TV selections was also a nice touch. The overall comfort of the space was good; however, the bed was a bit too hard for my liking, though my husband found it perfect.I absolutely loved Grand Lake and the surrounding area, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable stay in a great location!
