This condominium is located very close to many retail/service conveniences of Steamboat Springs--within 2-4 blocks one direction or another to Starbucks, Walgreens, the regional hospital, an urgent care, a shopping plaza with Walmart, a grocery store, Ski Haus sports center, McDonalds, and of course the wonderful Yampa River and associated bike/walk trail. Both the traditional downtown "Old Steamboat Springs" and the high-end ski resorts are within 1/2-to-1 1 mile walk/bike/drive. Everything was conveniently accessible.
The condo itself was fully equipped (towels, bedding, dishes, appliances, etc.) and everything worked very well--we ended up using the washer/dryer daily which was nice since we had already planned beforehand to not pack many sets of clothing. We were able to cook meals, etc. just fine and in general this locale made for a great "base of operations" to genuinely recreate during our stay. There were TVs (with satellite programming) in both BR and also in the main room, which kids had available while the hide-a-bed couch was in use. One item we noted was the below-bed spaces could have used more attention with a vacuum between stays; hence the not-quite-5 stars rating. Otherwise things seemed clean and well maintained upon our arrival.
One item to remember for summer visitors to SS, this location like virtually all locations in town (except probably the newest ski lodges and some of the newest, really higher-end homes) don't have air-conditioning so it's important to open windows in the evening, and then again in the earlier times of the morning to create cool air flow. The dry humidity makes this all very workable and enjoyable. Don't however leave the windows open either throughout the night (yes, SS really does have bears in town) nor especially during the day when guests aren't home, i.e. practice safe living habits--just saying.
Overall, would we stay here again? Yes.
